Thank you a lot not just for your excellent tutorial but also for your clear accent easily audible and understandable for us non native English speaker 🎉
Thank you. Helpful. However....Shift key does not do for me what it is doing for you to "chain" repair edges. Shift appears to not affect the selection action at all. Prob something in my setup? But still a very helpful video. Thanks a lot.
Hi Brendan Thank you very much for your great tutorials. I really enjoy that you very clearly go through all the steps in detail and take the time to explain everything. I know when I first started doing some composing work that I would watch video tutorials and it just seemed like the person was able to magically fix everything by pressing one or two buttons, but they never explained the details the way that you do. ... or you can silo the subject manually with path tools or brushes in the time its taking to use this process. When this first functionality became available I was excited and really tried all these workflows to save time. It turned out that in many cases it took longer to make all these adjustments than using paths or brushing a mask manually.
Great video, Brendan. I'm mostly having trouble making good selections around hair, especially a child's hair that is flyaway. Do you plan to make a video on this? Thanks!
I discovered you have to click on "select and mask" I believe is what it said, to reach the same screen. Not sure why certain machines you have to do this but thankfully there is a way.
Very useful tutorial! Thank you for the tips too! Good luck Brendan!

Thanks so much Brendan !! Excellent video. No matter how well one knows photoshop we all benefit from improving selections.
Wow, fantastic tutorial! Easily explained as well. Tnx!
Brendan! Thank you so much. This is just what I’ve been struggling with for days! Keep ‘em coming!
You are welcome!
Thank you, Brendan.

What a great tip, never used the shift key for this purpose before, many thanks

true...I'd rather do a reliable 5-minute process rather than experiment with 50 different steps that doesn't even look clean in the end.
I need this - thanks.
Happy to help
Will this method work on objects that look like that to begin with? What if the object's edges are uneven?

It is on my to-do list for RUclips. Its something I cover in my Selections Made Simple course but don’t have much youtube content on that topic yet.
Also, is the tut made recently using the latest 2024 version in PS? Thanks
Thank you
You're welcome
What about selecting difficult hair?
Despite double clicking on the layer mask, I am unable to get the Layer Mask work space as shown by you. Please help.
Me too! I'm not sure how else to get there. Not sure if there is an alternative way?!

dude, tf do I need college for when bro got us covered
it works for one big object but when you have dozens on them masking every single one of them doesn't make sense....
Good stuff, but, personally i appreciate less talking and more tutorial
