This is so very perfect! I am recovering from ankle arthrodesis on the right. I can bearweight. I went up and down the basement steps several times a few days ago and the next day I could hardly walk the pain was so intense on the outer aspect of my left knee. Through some research I figured it was my IT band being irritated. I am for sure going to look at your knee video in a minute. I dont have insurance and need help! Thank you.

So I think I have ITBS. My pain is not located in the knee at all but rather along the outside of the thigh/quad. Essentially where the IT band runs up and down the leg. Thoughts? Thanks!

@@littlefeather9709 EDS is short for Elhers danlos syndrome a genetic connective tissue disorder which results are collagen or a similar protein being effected. Which then causes things like joint pain, muscle pain, other joint and muscle issues, hyper mobility, hypertension’s, frequent dislocations in the absence of trauma. and other diseases can go along with it often Like POTS and Gastroparesis, asthma, bladder issues, and so much more! And I do as well get knots in my IT bands all the time and in have many other issues surrounding my IT bands.

I have this syndrome and i work out at the gym every day. What machines should i use and what machines should I stay away from. Also, for cardio workout , I like the stair master and i am wondering if that aggravates the injury. If it does , what cardio machine is better. I am wondering if the elliptical machines are better.

I am curious. Knock knees can aggravate the iliotibial band, so if you were to fix knock knees (like maybe a surgery like osteotomy), would it help bring down the irritation or get rid of it completely?
