- So I traded the 2022 Acura MDX in for a 2024 Honda CR-V EXL. We did not need the third row anymore so thought why not save some money. Looking forward to adding some nice touches to the Honda.

I really love how these look! My son is still driving my 2009 CRV at 160+ miles. I would definitely purchase one again if I wanted a SUV but for now I'm enjoying my 2018 Accord EX-L. Looking forward to your videos on this one.
I have the same model and year and love it! I just accidentally discovered it has auto high beams after 3 years of ownership 😂

Great car i had 2008 CRV I sold mine a year ago with 182000 miles on it. I contacted the buyer last month and she said that her daugther loves it it's her first car I put remote start in it. I always like to find about my cars once I sell them on.

Awesome. I’ll be praying for your 1.5t head gasket. Honda quality keeps me coming back to them though so crossing my fingers that it treats you right. On the CVT make sure you change the fluid every 30K miles

My dad just traded in his 21 CRV for a 24 hybrid in a dark blue and blacked out and he absolutely loves it. I think they did a great job on the redesign and it looks and feels quite a bit nicer than the prior gen

@quadriderhonda thanks man. They are good. I would say it sounds better than what the accord had but of course it doesn’t compare to the els in the Acura.

congrats Jon,,,wife has the same one loves it....a couple of tips for ya. These 1.5 are known to blow head gaskets. the head bolts are to weak. they have LSD( slow speed detonation), 87 octane fuel will cause this, u HAVE to run 91-93 octane fuel this will mitigate LSD which is 1 of the reasons the head gaskets blow. Also make should your coolant reservoir is topped off, if it is low another reason HG will blow. Honda is doing alot of HG jobs on 2018 and up accords,,,CRV is the exact same motor same problem usally around 60k and up. Gotta run premium fuel no matter what the manual says........Good luck with truck ,,they are very nic. OH 1 other thing CVT trans fluild change 30k no longer than that.

Congratulations Jon Another bunch of mods to watch😂😂. I almost got a A Spec TLX but couldn’t part with my car and all I have sank into mods . They are nice but smaller than I thought They look bigger from the front Glad you got a hybrid That’s truly the way to go Stay away from true EV’s Toyota is not going with EV’s but have plans with a new hydrogen engine possibly down the road but are not following the EV market There hybrid technology is perfected like Honda Enjoy the CRV Would have never guessed that color lol

Im pretty sure its better to have little bit more displacement and no turbo. Curious how these will be doing 150k+ , will any of them make it 250k? For instance

Very nice which engine does this one have I was on the fence with this but I got the 2022 RDX instead. The CVT scared me off of it.
Thanks. It has the 1.5t. Definitely doesn’t have the punch especially with the cvt but my wife isn’t an enthusiast lol

I understand that have the hybrid accord….not too sure how long the hybrid battery lasts and cost.
Why not an RDX?
We looked at them but for the size, the mpg is not great compared to the CR-V
@@HondaJon this is very true the gas mileage is the same if not worse on the RDX compared to MDX. I just traded my DE5 for a 2024 RDX A Spec Advance and am getting the same gas mileage I was getting on my 2015 Odyssey.
