tbh i don’t think they’re even “strict” at all. it’s normal to have a warm up before a late show like this starts, a lot of shows do that. it’s normal that they want people who look nice sit in the front rows. it’s television after all? also i feel like its normal that he doesn’t always drive. i prefer to watch a carpool karaoke where he doesn’t drive, not a carpool karaoke when they have a crash. i think all of those rules are pretty fair 🤷♀️

Actually no. I would have thought James rarely drives considering it is dangerous and so, having a license myself and thus knowing how quickly things can go wrong, I am happy to hear that they really use a tow when they think it's too dangerous.
I was also very surprised by how often James drives himself (he revealed that in a video) and even if he didn't, I really don't get what the big deal would have been. Is it bad to not put the lives of others in danger?

I'm proud he's repping the UK, hes so nice to his guests and makes them feel at home plus he doesn't fake laugh like other hosts do i.e Jimmy Fallon (no hate i think hes really nice but sometimes its cringey to watch him bc he tries too hard)- e.g he wore Jimin's headband to get him to like him whereas the "papa and baby mochi" joke was natural and James didn't have to kiss up to him oops- & the rest of the american talk show hosts are just annoying lol

The rule about the audience laughing at every joke and being told how to clap and when to and all that jazz before the filming starts is true for literally ALL “live” shows.
OK, he's clarified that he doesn't drive only when he thinks there is going to be a risk or if the celebrity might be in danger if something happens which most of the time doesn't. Justin and James agreed that it would be best to be towed. He has actually driven for the majority of his carpool karoakes, like for example, he was driving when he was with Billie Eilish.

this is not true that the stars have to only sing their songs...recently BTS were on carpool karaoke and they didn’t only sing their songs they sang some of their songs they sand post malone ect. fair enough they are from a different country and sing in a different language. but i’ve seen ones where english speaking artist sing other artists songs.

I think the man has come a long way in the industry and his successes and he should be respected in his light of his success and not criticized on what he does or doesn't do on the show...its just a show after all, so enjoy it and don't make it seem as a reality that should be perfect in all sense of the word.
