Works great on my 30-06, for the money though I wish it was a metal trigger guard. The magazine tends to stick and not insert or extract smoothly. Really got to shove the magazine in, to lock in place. Mixed feelings on it.
I have the STS version of this rifle were the trigger guard is metal ceracoated. Have not seen an upgrade were this could be kept. 🙋🏻♀️Anna (with greetings from Germany)
@@PNWArmsAdventurercool! I will leave it as it is for now. Actually for hunting purposes it does not really bother me. There are actually kits for AICS mags 🙋🏻♀️
This is a terrible design I had the exact same thing you'll notice the magazine latches at the front every time you brush the magazine with your palm it falls out we put the metal plate back in
I don’t think I’d say it ruins the gun by any means. A lot of gun parts (and guns) are made from similar plastic, but I do wish they gave the option for metal. Just doesn’t feel the same quality but it isn’t super flimsy or anything on the other hand.

Just magazine just something to lose in the field breaks make it way louder also and harder to check your muzzle crown protects it I suppose tho

The plastic kit is not sturdy.. save your money for the metal one

Completely ruins the gun to actually carry it in the woods......😮 Who would go from metal to cheezie plastic. This one is NOT for a hunter......
