I lived in Llandeilo for 2 years I used to work at Cawdor Arms Hotel, I loved every single minute of my time there, 2 years never heard of any crime of major incident in the the town very very safe place to live.
you featured Llandudno, yet showed photos of Caernarfon Castle and Bangor Town centre? you also talked about the oyster catchers on the mudflats, the crumbling walls with 21 towers, the castle and the Liverpool Arms on the waterfront terrace or "Quay" as normal people call it, all of which, in fact (reality), are in Conwy. So no actual information about Llandudno whatsoever?
I was born in Wales and my family is thinking of moving back there. I left when i was 2. I would love to find my old home. Im 20 now. I want to learn the language before i get there though 😂. A welsh kid who never got the change to be welsh thats who i am 😂. Spent 18 years in England and if there enemy’s then I've got a tough side to pick 😂
Is this an AI voice? Certainly sounds like it. Conwy/Llandudno info is confused. Pronunciation is awful. I live in the Conwy Valley, north Wales. Love it here.
What about Lampeter where the oldest and smallest university in 1822 of St.David's in Wales and not Aberystwyth where the first university of the university in 1872 of Wales is followed by Bangor Cardiff and Swansea that Lampeter joined in 1979. Lampeter is also the birth place of rugby in Wales in 1850 after the university played against Llandovery Grammar school. Lampeter is also known for its annual horse Welsh Cobe Stallion sale formerly held in the streets of the town and for its annual Thursday evening late night shopping Christmas shop and street stalls fair. That has a close knit community between the town and university and lots of shops in the small town with many cafes and hairdresser and Queen Victory hall and St.Peter's parish church where the town in Welsh takes its name from meaning the parish church and town of St.Peter that mutates from P to b after Llanbedda and the bridge of St.Stephen Pont Steffen.
Brecon is in Powys NOT Carmarthenshire... and for Gods sake.. if youre going to do a video on welsh places have the common courtesy to learn how to pronounce the places properly... Landudno? Seredijion? Gwined? Landethlo? Where in hell are these places? And LLANDEILO isnt near the A483... Its ON it. SERIOUSLY the channel is called learning canteen... go and do some learning before you try teaching!
We're from Idaho, USA and visited Whales from the Cotswolds. What a contrast! We were shocked by the poverty and squalor. Surely human beings should not live this way.
As for Wales, which still in 2023 is place dependent on England and in fact an English colony, worse than African Commonwealth countries, have no independence and representation abroad because of poverty, lack of proper education and health services not to mention low literacy skills and functional reasoning... Poorest place I ever been to... If not for those German supermarkets like Aldi or Lidl it would be disaster...
If you are coming here to live , bring shed loads of money, your own doctor, transport, tutor, and mini market. Either leave your dogs home or keep, them on leads. An ability to speak the language is a distinct advantage. You will need several macs, wellies, umbrellas to match your out fits, and a cheerful disposition to combat days of rain. Right, off to go , buy a hovel and do it up.
I have a lodge nestled in the trees in wales. Close to mountains lakes and beaches.
Why would anyone want more. Fab life!

I would prefer to hear one of our own indigenous welsh people saying where the best place to live in WALES is,most would say it's where our heart is.
Not sure it's an actual person talking but a AI generated voice.

Great video. Ceredigion is pronounced with a hard C the same as Cardigan.
Seeing these places on a map would help those of us unfamiliar with the areas.
I like all these towns
I'm sure the residents of Brecon, the county town, will be surprised to know it is in Carmarthenshire!
Well Glamorgan got a mention so im happy with that.
Should have included Barry.
All were awesome and views with interest.

I live in South Wales near Blaenavon. Whilst the scenery is beautiful
Portapotty is frequently overlooked because of the smell

Aberystwyth, Carmarthen, Lianelli, Haverfordwest. (West Wales) Which one is the best place?
Of those 4, Llanelli must surely be last
Arousal Cafe!
To pronounce Welsh place names you need to use the Welsh alphabet
Why didn't they find a Welsh person to voiceover. At least they'd get the pronunciation right!
Brecon isn’t in Carmarthenshire
Seredigion!
Gwined!
😂😂
Roo-thin!
thank god cf61 wasnt in this 😆
Oh, sorry everyone; we're full up now. Try Northern Ireland. Diolch
I'm English and live in Wales and I think it is a real.insult to Welsh speakers that the narrator cannot day any of the towns names correctly!!
Make your own video then.😂

im in tumble.
The narrator needs to brush up on his pronunciation of Welsh town names. Seredigion - NO.

The best place to live in Wales is living outisde of it
Lmao
😆

I agree. The scenery is breath taking but the poverty and deprivation is extensive
It's wales 🏴 not whales 🐳
Very “rich” people though, I must say.
Whales lol
You need to go to West Virginia and see poverty. All countries have low socio-economic towns due to lack of jobs and opportunities.
I would not live in Blaenavon because it's insular and deprived

What they need is a Labour government.

if you think haverfordwest is one of the 12 best places to live in wales you do not live there
😂😂😂
