i think that ever since rotator beat tombstone everyone know how to fight him, so i think he's not gonna be as good this year. But on the other hand, rusty has never been seen before, so hes gonna win the giant nut
@@Bo12346hhgfgdg I don't think, competitively speaking, either of these bots are in the upper half of the field but Sporkanok at least has the potential to not break after thirty seconds, unlike Shrederator and Axebackwards, which ended their fights as they always end them, broken and dead. I mean, even Tombstone got stuck on the screws in the same place as Sporkanok.
Praise Rusty, man. He needs some love. Doing it all by himself... Dave has a great personality... such a great passion for the sport, and I hope with all my heart that he does good. I just... I can’t see the bot going far. And that’s sad. This man deserves my utmost respect. Kudos to him for getting his first win.
Maybe if he ever got a sponsor he could actually improve that concept and make it viable for mid-tier fights (i can't see a jackhammer going through things like tombstone or witchdoctor so he would need something more "meta"), and with practice he could actually do well all by himself :D
They say that the real reason why Bite Force isn't competing in Battlebots this year was because Paul Ventimiglia heard about Rusty and was scared that Rusty would destroy Bite Force in one hit XD
Just wanna say this while I can. At this time Rusty is undefeated, has a 100% KO rate and has more wins then Tombstone, Whiplash and Scorpios combined.
What I love the most about Rusty is what he symbolizes. He shows that it is still possible for a hobbyist with a low budget, to be able to make a 'garage build' bot, and still make it into BattleBots. I do love BattleBots to pieces. But with each passing year, it feels more a more like an elitist invitation-only club. Like if you're not rich (or have quick access to rich friends and sponsors), don't have a degree in a STEM field, or know how to CNC mill the Statue of David out of a block of Adamantium, then the producers and show-runners don't even want to talk to you.
Rusty reminds me of the kids movie, WALL-E. With the big round eyes and tank tracks. Like the movie, he finds himself in dangerous, deadly situations, but some how survives🤖
Rusty may have gone on to lose two fights but it was able to survive being cut into by SawBlaze for a full 3 minutes and sustained minimal internal damage from Beta’s monster hammer. Rusty is a tank.
I can't remember the last time I wanted someone to win as much as Rusty in episode 1. The thing is adorable and inspirational, and just seeing it get on TV, work, do its thing and get a victory was amazing.
@@Syelica1395 Like I said, I can’t remember :P It might have been during the Grand Final of series 10 of Robot Wars; I really wanted to see Nuts 2 and Behemoth overcome the odds and reach the final battle together.

@@isaiahstrong4716 in its whole carreer, it had one win and one lose, meaning it currently has a 100% win rate, where as things like tombstone have been defeated 5 times already (tombstone has a 16/5 win ratio for example)
