  • “The best time to build a charging station was five years ago. The second best time is now. “
Christine, Abhishek, and Katharine first crossed paths at Carbon13, a cleantech venture builder. "We bonded over our shared commitment to addressing the current climate emergency!"
Motivated by this common goal and their shared aspiration to fight climate change they joined forces to establish VoltVogel. The goal: “Electrify the world. Sustainably.”
The team of three joined the MotionLab.Berlin Hardtech Innovation Accelerator Program to acquire two pilot customers and develop their functioning prototype.
But what do they work on? “We provide a flexible electric car charging service for fleet owners, event organizers, or car parks that do not see a solution in investing in fixed infrastructure,” Christine explains their idea. “VoltVogel stands for a new era of charging: we bring mobile stations directly to the car and let them charge it up. By using AI, robotics, and sustainable batteries we reduce EV drivers’ carbon footprints, use renewable energy, and make charging an EV more convenient than filling up at a petrol station.”
Their most significant achievement within the program so far: securing the first pilot project with their Minimum Viable Product (MVP) at Deutsche Messe.
We love to hear that VoltVogel plans to stay at MotionLab.Berlin, renting one of our MakerGarages. “Now that we’ve seen how great it is here you can’t get rid of us.”
