  • I'm at the Workstead today to demo a trailer mounted firewood processing unit made by Tajfun that is reported to do up to 4 cords per hour! This Tajfun RCA 500 JOY is a BEAST.
This one is not for the faint of heart - it's the real deal! Tajfun focuses on commercial applications and VERY high output fire wood production. This unit has a RN 1500 live deck and TT 510 S hydraulic conveyor outfeed and is completely self contained. Pretty impressive. What's even more interesting is that it's a modular system. Every part can be removed or reconfigured depending on the user's needs. You can add or subtract modules as needed, and even run the machine with power from your skidsteer or tractor.

Can't swing the cost of a firewood processor, but you still want to blow some money on tools? Check out my Amazon Store:

I can vouch for the TAJFUN- I run 500 full cords a year through my rca400. It’s amazing.

I didn't get a chance to do it, but it looked like a 5 or 10 minute job. No big deal

2 minute job I work for an agricultural dealer in the UK kilworth machinery we sell these wood processors you just press the lower yellow button of the two on the joystick until the splitting wedge goes all the way down then keep it pressed for a further 5 seconds then it unlocks it from the lifting mechanism then you can lift it out to change it. There extremely good machines for the price probably the fastest wood processor on the market.

I believe so. They're based in Slovenija, and it looks like there are 3-4 dealers in Germany

Depends on which modules you want, trailer options, etc. In the end, you could spend about 2 Honda Civics to get set-up right

@@HomesteadBandwagon nice good to know! Guess that's not bad if you're processing 2M a year in firewood 🤠

Looks good but I’m looking for one more automated and slower…to say…leave a certain dynamic duo tied up and unattended on to say…get rid of them once and for all

I get what you mean. Gotta make sure the whole process takes at least 20 minutes so you can explain your plan and then get distracted and forget to make sure the deed gets done
