I wasn't expecting a good album but this album is great. I wasn't expecting another epic metal song from them but they delivered again. "spit out the bone". They already contributed so much to the metal music. They are over 50 years old and they still creating. I have no problem with load and reload. they are great albums. I just enjoy their songs and shows.. It doesn't matter if they changed their style or have short hairs. it's irrelevant. I am just grateful I happened to love Metallica and metal music. They have a big part of my life and my taste of music. I love them for it.

I cannot describe the magic or the feelings we felt when Metallica kicked our asses. Goosebumps is the only word I have. This song comes pretty close. Honestly the only thing that's probably missing is the spark of youth that we had.

It was the dead of night in my hometown already and at first I didn’t actually believe what I’ve seen with my eyes, but then I realized that the first single of the then-new Metallica album is here. No matter what they do, there's no pleasing some people. This is better than anything I hoped for. It's got Kill 'em All style lyrics, Master of Puppets pacing and Black Album melody. It's Metallica, through and through. I'm ecstatic.
In that order it does describe what's going on in the song I couldn't exactly put my finger on it either. All though had some vibes from Death Magnetic but as you hear it more it's totally different maybe the tone is what a lot of people are complaining about. But I think the song is kick ass and the new album will be doing us metalheads a service this November.

And I'm like come on guys, let people enjoy things, nobody actually cares if you don't like a song. In my opinion it's a great song, and if you look at the like/dislike ration you see that like 92% of the other people also does, but if you look at the comments you'd expect something like 5% because the only people commenting are the people that can't get over the fact that bands change over time and that they can't do anything about it.

It's pretty basic metal riffs. By Metallica standards it's pretty weak. I'm a huge Metallica fan. But this song has the weakest lead solo I've ever heard from a Metallica song. What was that, anyway? Normally their songs have a change of pace, an interlude, a main solo and one or two other solos. But this was pretty much the same riff throughout the entire song, and the shortest, weakest solo I've heard from them. I hope the other songs on the album are better.

I never really got into Metallica because I didn't care for anything after the Black album, so I'd never planned on trying to buy their merch or see them live or listen to them because I thought there would never come a day where they returned to the big four and made thrash great again. If only Anthrax and Slayer follow in their footsteps. 2016 and 2017 need to become the years of reclaiming thrash. Metallica has really done well this time, and I am personally looking forward to their new album now.
