2021 maple season wins/ fails

A few things that we had to deal with during the season of producing syrup. I tried to catch as many as I could.

What a transition from winter to summer. I’ve never had a harder time tapping as I did in the higher elevations this year. Maple 21 was a weird one. Hopefully 2022 is a bit more normal!

Is what food grade? The leak seal? Probably not but it’s on the outside of the pipe. And it’s not food until it gets boiled into syrup.
