The one thing I dislike, and borderline hate, about this game is the clan wars. Clans have done nothing but make the game practically unplayable for solo players because it's always on sight with them, and it's never just one - it's four, five, or more dragons coming down on you at once, making the fight a one sided slaughter against you. It's not fun, and never will be fun. Hopefully the introduction of the elementals faction in 1.0 will change the balance of power and people/clans will have a reason to NOT kill people on sight 24/7, but that's just a fever dream that will most likely never come true in this game sadly.
Should be more fun once they add PVE aspects to the game, because then PVE servers will actually be fun and in those you don't have to worry about any dragons killing you.

This game is genuinly impossible to play if your not in a clan. The clans litterally have a monopoly on good stats and members aren't allowed to share eggs with friends. Also you are able to see the name of the person who gave you the egg for a split second
As someone who is breeding stats for clans, let me tell you that clans are extremely conservative of their turf to protect their nesting areas and food, which is why adventuring yourself in the wrong part of the map can lead 10 peoples to log on and track you down to death. For the breeding part, nesting is a long and hard work, which can ask months of work, which is why eggs are not given for free on pvp servers, by design the stats breeding push peoples to gather into clans to make the best of their dragons. Best way for you to get a good stats dragon is either playing with a clan or make one.

Perhaps making an actual clan system, and tying rewards to clan battles, and possibly even an honor system for defending "territory" or something when fighting against rival clans while also giving players a genuine reason to question whether or not the unknown solo player they spotted 3 miles out is worth killing just because they don't know who it is. If it's an unaffiliated player, and you kill them without a need for food then it should cost the players or the clan as a whole something in return. I don't know. It would sure as hell be a better, more rewarding experience for all involved than what we have now because what we have now is disgraceful and disgusting in terms of player enjoyment.

Oh, look. An open-world multiplayer survival game. And it's got clans. Wonderful. Clans are straight poison for games like this. Pretty much everything wrong with player interaction in games like this, is usually attributed to clans in some way, and so many devs fail to properly account for them, leading to hot messes like this.
Its toothless fighting you😝
Me on US1 if I speak DEATH/HOUND/GAIA will kill me XD
I play less on us1 I would have to come back, but to tell the truth Death, hound raids us so it's so complicated x)
Us1 is a war server, before it was quiet, fighting, no big war, now it's H24 fight.
Maybe that's why I went to us2...
Well great video.
You're not a big Day of Dragon youtuber(and maybe player) , but I hope that we'll play together once! :)
I've been a day of dragon video since the beginning, even though I don't watch all your videos, I enjoy your videos.

Played this when it originally came out
Where can we see how it originally looked?
@@pasolentoAnimator just search up day of dragons and look at videos from when there was a dessert map, the sand texture was relatively good quality and the wyvern that was playable then looked good too
YEEE MY CLAN IS ON TV on the 1:55
15:38 When the little Hatchie says 'are you friendly?' I've just realized I'm in the same Feet clan as it ^^
