- Can a Semi Truck go off roading? The recovery recovery truck, Axial based 6X6 dual motor Mack Truck. Come on long on the recovery recovery video, yes thats 2 recoveries in one. Will and I took the 2 6X6 and MST Jeep down into the HorseShoe Canyon of Drumheller to test out the new Mack semi and see if how it handles. Built from 2 Axial SCX trucks, a 3D printed cab, I cut the cab in half and widened it by an inch, custom styrene built sleeper. Dual motor set up, geared low of course. Lots of work, a fun build but lots of work LOL. I will be building a drop trailer, gooseneck trailer but I wanted a trailer that I could go off trail with. The rig and trailer did awesome. Love Love MACK trucks and got the tattoo too show it. Learned to drive in one. 35yrs later I Love Love MACK trucks and bought a tf2. Oh well, your trucks are awesome. Perhaps some envy is showing. Thx. Rick.

Scale Town hallo prima ich bin gespannt. Mich interessieren die Trucks im rc Bereich besonders .Da ich selber schon einiges gebaut habe .jedoch ist es immer interessant zu sehen wie jeder so seine Idee umsetzt und das gute wenn alles funktioniert.ich selber Bau gerade einen Axial 6x6 mit Zwillingsbereifung .könnte dir ja mal Bilder senden.aber wenn dann privat .schöne Grüße EP

WHERE did you get that Mack body?? 😲 I want one of those. I'm currently working on a custom Rig, out of a HG P402 (I know, but I'm poor from helping a friend who's in serious need). I've been beating my brain trying to figure out what look I wanted....
That style Mack, with a flatbed (4x4 though), is IT! 👍👍🍺

Thanks Murph, the Mack body was 3D printed with many hours widening and smoothing it to get the look, the sleeper is scratch built from styrene. Both 6X6s are 3 axle driven and dual motor setup. Hope that answers all your questions :-) Cheers bud
I really like your Tonka r.c. I have a couple of old o.g.s that I'm thinking about switching over to r.c.s but I'm having trouble committing to damageing them.

Yes both 6X6s are custom built from axle SCX-10s
this video would be even better if you had sound modules in each of the trucks give it a better feel of the video

I have found my favorite truck. I wasn't both those trucks, but to start, the green mack 'hulk' with what looks like a metal body.
Where did you get all that stuff? How do you make a duely tire stack? What's that running so it doesn't burn up with all that weight?
LOL thank you, the green Mack is one of a kind build for sure. The cab is 3D printed but not very nicely, I had to cut it in have and widen it an inch, then custom built the sleeper out of styrene. The chassis is a junk drawer box build, I used what ever parts I had a around to build it. Axles are SCX10, RC4WD chassis rails, dual motor setup on an Axle trans. I couldn't make another like it if I tried, close maybe but thats half the fun is the build. Glad you like it :-)
