+Shiva Chemist Also, I've recently acquired some (NH4)2S2O8-are there any other properties of it that you can tell us? I've looked it up, with very little information(in fact; your video is the most detailed!) about its possible reactions and products. Perhaps you may even be able to make a video on tetraaminecopper (ii) persulfate and how it is synthesized and crystallized? I'm just thinking aloud; forgive me.
+Elyjah Vasquez Yep, there is an interesting fiery reaction between Ammonium persulfate and Aluminum. I had tried it many times but it did not work for me. Probably because of its hygroscopic nature. Also, it is a low melting solid and started to decompose over 120 C. So, it is hard to drive away the water by that way. Another interesting reaction is, a strong aqueous solution of Ammonium persulfate will liberate Oxygen on heating. Regarding tetraaminecopper (ii) persulfate, sure, I will look into it. For now, I'm really busy but definitely will try to make it for you, no biggie :-) Thank you.
Do you know how ammonium persuflate (and other persfulfates) react with metals like Fe, Al and Si?
Nice and informative video! What is the song you used?
Thank you! Smart Riot Huma-Huma
What does it do with the fluoride ion?
Make acid ascorbic and potassium citrate
Keep up the great work!

Oh, thank you. I'm trying :-)

+Shiva Chemist Nice one, but do you how to prepare ammonium persulfate?
+ChemicalMaster
Yeah by electrolyzing concentrated ammonium bisulfate solution.
+Shiva Chemist Ok! Is there any condition where ammonium persulfate can also further oxidize manganous ion to permanganate ion?
+Shiva Chemist Also, is this the correct reaction between ammonium persulfate and manganese sulfate: MnSO4 + (NH4)2S2O8 + 2 H2O = MnO2 + 2 H2SO4 + (NH4)2SO4 ?
+Shiva Chemist Can persulfates also oxidize soluble chromium(III) salts into chromates?
Yep, they do.
Ok! And by the way have you ever heard of Potassium ferrioxalate trihydrate ( K3[Fe(C2O4)3] * 3 H2O )?
Yep, what about it?
What do you think about doing a video on its preparation and properties? It´s quite a beautiful and interesting crystalline solid.
Does it oxidize copper too?
Of course, it does. It's no biggy though. As you know the oxidation state of elements is zero.
Nice!
Thank you :-)
could you some organic synthesizes
Sure, I'll try to post some videos about organic chemicals as well.
thanks
