The sound of his 'tyrannosaurus' yell sounds the exact same like his 'its morphin time!' clip.. this made my childhood!
No single character in Power Rangers history says "It's Morphin' Time!" and "Tyrannosaurus!" like Jason. In all the years following Austin St. John's Power Ranger tenure nobody has even come remotely close,
Austin's chair was my role model, I can't believe some folks would have so much hate toward it, that chair made me the man I am today and I'm proud to say that.

Awwww. He shied when Paul asked him to say "Tyrannosaurus!!" He's such a doll. Almost every interview that had people speaking about PR, everyone just had the nicest things to say about Austin.

PiazzaGurl I know about the con interviews but I was wondering if like the DVD's of the Power Rangers had something on her because I know that there's a DVD extra that features the casting director talking about the original five actors. I've seen the segment on Austin St. John but I was curious to know if the segment on Thuy was on RUclips.

The story is that JDF wanted out and Shuki Levy approached Austin to be Gold Ranger as well as Red Turbo starting with the movie. But Austin told him he preferred to be the bad guy. So, instead of Tommy being the one to leave, Rocky was (Steve Cardenas wanted to leave too). And they got Blake Foster from a movie Shuki was doing and decided to go after the Beetleborg fans with an 11 year old ranger. Almost killed the franchise.
I would love to hear more about these production decisions and behind the scenes stuff! I never knew that
that kid ranger shit is what lost me back in the day...as a kid...lol

See Skull reading Austin's caravan? He said AUSTIN, JASON. And then he said "Austin St. John. " That's because ASJ is not his name, his real name is Jason Geiger. JDF talked about that and said that Austin change his name, in the franchise there was 3 Jasons, him, Austin and Skull! Aparently JDF didn't like that cause Austin one day change his name on his door and when JDF called him "Jason", he demand to JDF to be called Austin. And we know that JDF is quite sensible man with those small things.

No actually Austin wasnt going to be a background ranger before the episode "Transfer of Power" he along with Walter and Thuy (RIP) left due to discrepancies between the producers due to non-union and salary arrangements, so they brought back JDF's character Tommy to be the white ranger hence if you listen to Austin's character Jason in transfer of power its a different voice, who is actually one of the producers giving the voice over.

sad to say Jdf acts like a dick off camera yet he acts all nice to us fans. but in personal level with the crew he grew up with on MMPR. he acts like hes a hero. i get most people would hate me for posting this and post stupid comments about it. or being denial about what happen. but the hate between jdf and austin need to die down. i can just picture them both just fighting to the "death" on power rangers. XD that be epic but i wish they can just pass the grudge he has for austin. even tho im three years far when this video was posted lol.

I love this video, this is now in my favorites. Seeing Evil Jason beat up the Blue Turbo Ranger still makes me smile, as I've always disliked Justin . I just hope Austin comes back to "Power Rangers" as Jason the Red Ranger, even if it's for another guest appearance. I still get a big kick out of hearing him say "Tyrannosaurus!" :D

That's a shame to see everybody seemingly hates Austin St. John (Actors and fans now days). In my opinion he should have had the same impact on MMPR that Jason David Frank did. In my humble opinion, without those two guys. This Franchise would have never taken off.
The only person who has any problems with Austin St John is Jason David Frank. Nobody else has complained about him and most of the fans love Austin
What are you talkin about? ASJ is VERY popular th only guy up there with JDF, and MANY people love the guy...except JDF. ASJ was just absent for several years...cuz he was oversea's being a medic and REALLY being hero saving lives, but now, HE BACK TO ACTION!! Baby!! Hope to see him at one of his many Cons this year!!

Well it's been 4 years and things have changed. The fandom is more than happy to have ASJ back in the fandom, and we respect him even more for all the services he has done abroad as a paramedic and firefighter. And ASJ was, is and always will be the greatest Red Ranger. ^^

It's pretty obvious to tell that JDF was joking in this chair, he's even said it multiple times he has no problems with Austin.
+MisterX867 he did have a probelm with austin for some time but it was with to with austins attitude about lieing about some stuff apparently but i would of said both were childish in this issue.
