Pixarus NEW 2023 | Toverland - Avalon Expansion | OnRide POV (25+ Flips)

Pixarus is a new Gerstlauer Sky Fly at Attractiepark Toverland. The ride is part of the Avalon expansion that opened on 01.07.2023. With the help of the magician Merlin, the dream of flying comes true. Riders can perform flips at a height of up to 89feet [27 metres] by moving wings attached to their seat.

@@sanderkonings6082 It does take a bit of practice. 😂 But once you get the hang of it, flips become much easier to perform.

Wie schwer lassen sich Überschläge auf Pixarus machen im Vergleich zu den sky flys im Hanapark und Tripsdrill?

Etwas leichter als in Tripsdrill und im Hansa Park finde ich. Zumindest wenn ich an meine letzte Aufnahme vom Sky Fly in Tripsdrill denke. Dort hatte ich größere Probleme in den ersten Überschlag reinzukommen.
(Die Anzahl an Überschlägen kommen jedoch bei Weitem noch nicht an meine Bestwerte ran. Trotzdem fand ich dass es sich etwas leichter angefühlt hatte.)

Is there a rollover counter at the exit like on some of the other Gerstlauer Skyflys?

There is a screen at the ride's exit, that shows all the seats. It just didn't show the amount of rollovers you did on our ride, but I'd imagine this screen will show them.

How do you Flip?

By moving the wings that are attached to your seat up and down until the forces and torque created by the airstream are big enough to flip you over.
It takes a bit of practice, but once you know how to do flips it's super fun!
