The "Show Blood" option actually helps when you're wall banging short boxes, if you hit their heads blood would show above the box, good indicator if there's an enemy behind it.

Bruh by Blood Off it will change the colour of the blood from red to whitish orange, it doesn't mean that it doesn't show blood
turning blood off replace blood with sparks, so nothing really changes in wall banging..

Wait did these tips help fix that? Because my laptop used to be able to play valorant fine and one day this started happening to the point where it was unplayable. Every "new" animation or action done froze the game for a whole 10 seconds.

@@darthh2026 Actually not a bot. Lowering the resolution can help improve fps in many games. i get 40 fps when playing native on cs but get 80-102 when playing on 800x600, so yeah.. if it doesn't work for you then im sorry. and if it does i recommend overclocking your monitors Refresh rate

A friend of mine showed me this video when I was about to quit valorant due to the fact i was playing with 30 fps. Would be an absolute horrifying experience where the lack of fps more latency would make me lose easy 1v1s easy kills, peeking and getting killed before seeing the enemy... Anyways I was not having fun, destroying my mmr my match history would be painted in red until I came up with this video since it was a life changer. Yes I see pixels and I struggle on maps like breeze since long range fights are a struggle but my fps got boosted to 80-130. My pc is rlly trash but I can finally have fun on valorant again, the changes were clear I would tap heads one after the other, people calling me smurf and my confidence got really boosted and it was all thanks to you so a huge shout out for making this video. One thing I've noticed idk what's wrong is that on my main account the frames are good but if I hop on my 2nd acc I notice a decrease in fps, from 80-130 to like 50-80 idk why it happens since the settings are the same so if you have any tips that could help me understand this issue would be appreciated. Besides that thank you very much
i think if you play more than 1 account on the same pc, there will be more config files and you need to edit them too (sorry for my bad english)

Holy fuck this works, my valorant was getting 40fps and freezing but after changing the Res in config and priority I was averaging 90fps and the freezing outright stopped, amazing tutorial that works

since the latest update on oct 2021, this guide really helped me a lot. Before, i only got 30-60 fps. But now, i get 60-100 fps. however, the resolution quality at 50% is so pixelated on my device so i tweaked it to 80%. its just in the middle of being pixelated and being smooth. this gave me hope in playing valorant. although patches are getting a hefty chunk on my laptop's fps, im still happy to play. thanks for the guide

Yea you are right high performance often heats my laptop and it auto shuts. Balanced or on battery saver kinda gives playable fps.

Thank you very much for the Intel Driver & Support Assistant. I didnt know about it and i had things to update and one of them solved a problem i had on a matter which wasnt related to Valorant. Also my fps consistency increased a bit so i'm very happy to have found this guide even if it's 10 months late :) Also i wouldnt recommend turning off "show blood" because it is useful in some scenarios when you try to wallbang and i dont think that it consumes much fps, maybe like 5-10 at max

5-10 is a considerable amount for players who don't touch 60fps in general, plus turning off blood just replaces blood with sparks so it still helps in wallbangs, there's no drawback other than visual effects

another tip: if you have a 60hz screen you should cap your fps at 60 all the time
1. theres no reason to go over 60
2. your frame rate will be more consistent
3. No screen tearing
4. less heat
