I have a soft spot for this song. It has a totally different vibe to me after watching the documentary. They worked so hard and deserved better treatment.
The Korean public should have given them another chance. This group has no bad songs. They even after Playboy and being mistreated by their company, they pulled up their socks and came together with Figaro, 1 way ticket, News, dolls and others which are all classics. Just look at their confidence levels. There is a drastic change and they had grown with every MV. They look much happier in their other videos. They deserved to be recognized and at least an Award. I respect and love you all girls.

I would argue it was bad for 2010 standards. I can't name any worse kpop songs from that time and there weren't nearly as many groups as there are now so the bad ones stood out more back then.

And then in 2011 you had monster girl groups like apink and Rania (contrary to popular belief Ranias debut album was very popular), so comparing 9muses debut to the rest of the girl groups the debut around the same time I can see why people would call 9muses a flop debut. Even though now looking at it they weren't all that bad, but also there debut stage was really bad. Like they just stopped singing half way through the stage. 👀👀
Personal opinion: this song was a HIT on my mind since the very first time I listened to it more than 10 years ago!!! I have been recently obssessed with 9Muses again, remembering how I used to dance their songs alone in my room and How I felt when Sam, Sera and Eunji left the group, I cried back then... 🥹🩷

Wow. Both get compared to Snsd Sooyoung and Hyoyeon. If you look at this from a height perspective all of them are above 1.7 meters 5.572 ft. The Only Exception here if you're a girl's Generation fan is Sooyoung due to her being 172cm like Eunji.

Despite everything that surrounds this (and truly it's heartbreaking to think what they all went through during this time) this to me, stands out amongst a large majority of k-pop songs. This wasn't your run of the mill light hearted boppy tune where it's all sweet and pink, this was a mature and liberating track that was far, far ahead of it's time considering what all the other groups were doing. They all went throug hell just to make this possible and if this had the reception it deserved then it would of actually meant more than what it dose now
I didn't like this song until I watched the documentary. It made me love Sera soo much more, poor baby :c I was sad she left along with LeeSaem, Euaerin and Eunji. What bothered me most was hearing the company hiring girls that they knew couldn't sing or dance. Why do that to your company and these girls? So sad...
Because they were all models. Notice how tall they are. Also they worked soooo hard and look at em now, they are one of the most synchronized girl group out there.
Even before they had this line-up, they had different girls. I'm not sure what happened, but they had to change them, and even before debut, they were planning on replacing Jaekyung with Hyuna, but Hyuna wanted to wait until she was ready because if she debuted with them, she would only have a few months to train and catch up. Kyungri and Sungah were part of the actual predebut line-up but their vocals weren't that great, so even this line-up is better.
I just watched the documentary and wanted to check the video of the girls.. They were full of dreams and they treated them like they are worthless..I hope they are all happy whatever they do in their lives..
This is not one of the worst debuts ever it’s one of the BEST debuts ever. Even if it sounded like genie from girls generation this still deserved an award. Coming back after hearing about the upcoming disbandment...I don't even know where to start actually... I know that they deserved so much more than this. They really were a force of nature when it comes to quality songs, especially during the Sweetune era. And I just wished they got the recognition they deserved. I want to wish all the members AND former members good luck with everything they're going to do with their lives from now on. You all did your best 9Muses and you will always be remembered as a fierce, mature group with one of the most solid consistent discography I've ever heard from any other K-pop acts. the fun fact here it's that Bad Girl Good Girl was going to be 9Muses Debut song and No Playboy was going to be MissA debut song, then JYP changed their songs because he though that 9Muses was going to fit No Playboy better than MissA. And another Fun Fact it's that No Playboy was going to be 2PM and Wonder Girls comeback as well, but Wonder Girls choosed Nobody and 2 Different Tears, and 2PM Heartbeat and Again&Again for their respective comeback instead.

Despite everything that surrounds this (and truly it's heartbreaking to think what they all went through during this time) this to me, stands out amongst a large majority of k-pop songs. This wasn't your run of the mill light hearted boppy tune where it's all sweet and pink, this was a mature and liberating track that was far, far ahead of it's time considering what all the other groups were doing. They all went throug hell just to make this possible and if this had the reception it deserved then it would of actually meant more than what it dose now

I didn't like this song until I watched the documentary. It made me love Sera soo much more, poor baby :c I was sad she left along with LeeSaem, Euaerin and Eunji. What bothered me most was hearing the company hiring girls that they knew couldn't sing or dance. Why do that to your company and these girls? So sad...
Because they were all models. Notice how tall they are. Also they worked soooo hard and look at em now, they are one of the most synchronized girl group out there.
Even before they had this line-up, they had different girls. I'm not sure what happened, but they had to change them, and even before debut, they were planning on replacing Jaekyung with Hyuna, but Hyuna wanted to wait until she was ready because if she debuted with them, she would only have a few months to train and catch up. Kyungri and Sungah were part of the actual predebut line-up but their vocals weren't that great, so even this line-up is better.

This is not one of the worst debuts ever it’s one of the BEST debuts ever. Even if it sounded like genie from girls generation this still deserved an award. I’m missing best rapper Lee sem, Best vocalist Sera, Best Vocalist HyunA, Best Vocalist Jaekyoung, & best vocalist Hyemi. I wish the girls make a mv reunion one day.

Coming back after hearing about the upcoming disbandment...I don't even know where to start actually... I know that they deserved so much more than this. They really were a force of nature when it comes to quality songs, especially during the Sweetune era. And I just wished they got the recognition they deserved. I want to wish all the members AND former members good luck with everything they're going to do with their lives from now on. You all did your best 9Muses and you will always be remembered as a fierce, mature group with one of the most solid consistent discography I've ever heard from any other K-pop acts. the fun fact here it's that Bad Girl Good Girl was going to be 9Muses Debut song and No Playboy was going to be MissA debut song, then JYP changed their songs because he though that 9Muses was going to fit No Playboy better than MissA. And another Fun Fact it's that No Playboy was going to be 2PM and Wonder Girls comeback as well, but Wonder Girls choosed Nobody and 2 Different Tears, and 2PM Heartbeat and Again&Again for their respective comeback instead.

well, there’s nothing wrong about stannning blackpink. i’m a 2gen stan and sometimes i listen to them. 9muses is my second favorite group. i didn’t like them at first, but “no playboy” is that kind of bops that you can’t take out of your head. i like it, but i don’t love it. i started stanning them when they released “news” and i still here TT as a mine, I know the video is nothing awesome and at that time, small companies did not have enough income to make a quality video like those who were offered by the big three. and don’t make talk about star empire training the girls for the debut, it’s disappointing. i’m glad they improve a lot with time, muses is never end ♥️
