This is such a great show! Thanks so much for keeping this show up on the Internet. I am well aware that jazz music has become such a niche that it's difficult for people to become aware of great artists like Grace and others. Keep up the good work keeping the jazz flame alive on the Internet. I'm a big fan from the SF Bay Area and appreciate watching live jazz whenever I can. Thank you!
How wonderful that this is here, and indeed captures what it was like to be at your concert (I saw you last night at TCAN and spoke with you). While I enjoyed your _All that I need_ CD this morning, you must be seen live to receive your gifts in full. Thank you so much, Grace (and Jazz St Louis for posting this).
First time seeing Grace ! WoW would be an understatement ! Her tongue work is amazing , her dancing is unbelievable while playing ! She has more breath support than the Windmills in Palm Springs singing and playing ! If She ever comes to Central Texas i'd love to see her live. She is definitely the BEST SAX PERFORMER I'VE EVER SEEN. Seen a few. play a little too. The Whole Band is Awesome. Berkley ! That explains alot ! Yeah Y'all can come to my House i'll cook Ya whatever Ya want ! Haha. 😁✌🔥🎷🔥🍩Grace Kelly fits her Well ! Graceful as a young roe skipping through the woods...👍👏

Such a brilliant concert! Very well played indeed! Even an Australian bass player, who likes the Skywalker theme, in the line up. Thank you so very much, Grace!
She blew me away when she played all the different personalities and Genres of that curved Soprano i've noticed them playing myself but never saw and heard them displayed as She did ! I am Totally blown away by her Talent ! Good thing i'm NOT there be making a perfect fool of meself !😊I concur with the therapuetic comfort of writing or just simply letting the heart pour out ! God gave us a Wonderful Gift - MUSIC !!...🎼🎵🎶
She's originally from Brookline HS near Boston. She played in her HS jazz ensemble. Then studied at Berklee while appearing locally in jazz clubs in the Boston area. Her parents were very supportive of her career early on. They were at all her performances and I believe managed in her early career. Also a gifted song writer.
Love the way Grace plays tunes in a danceable way. And I really enjoy that she turns tunes on their heads. Like The Consouls doing a smooth jazz cover of Mute City from F-Zero - absolute genius!
You are so amazing, jazz is so fun coming from you, the groove makes feet taps subconsciously, your banter brought everyone closer to you ,even without words ,you actually communicates and banter with your instrument which is something like your sax is talking, luv u
She understands that performing music live is... live performance which is very different from recording or a jam session, etc. It isn't "pure art". I like "pure art", but I think jazz would be better off if a higher proportion of musicians viewed live performance as a form of entertainment. Entertainment can be artistic, but it should be fun, and it is a skill that can require practice and careful study much as a musician studies music theory. The jazz scene has been lacking this balance of entertainment to art for a long time. When it was popular, we had real performers with stage presence (think Louis Armstrong's Satchmo persona, Ella, Dizzy etc.). I doubt Ms. Kelly would be my first choice of shows to attend if I was in NYC any given weekend, but she would certainly be one of my top choices to bring a date or friends who aren't serious jazz fans.
Grace is getting better and better what a saxophonist and singer 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
So cute, So fiery, and So Talented.! Thank you Grace.!!❤️
Grace Kelly has a beautiful voice and excellent on the instruments. My favorite "Spoon". Go Girl!!

Most natural expressed jazz ever....

She singes as good as she playes her instrument
George Harrison did a hilarious version of True Love.
Would her mentor, Phil Woods, be pleased with her performance and repertoire? I’ll leave the answer up to you.
GK is an entertainer and she is very much alive, unlike PW.
Phil was a crank, jokester, and bon vivant. So the answer is, likely, yes.
@@daviduribe3111 What a *completely* asinine comment. Congrats.
Тьфу!
The silly theatrics certainly take away from fully enjoying the music.
Sounds like circus music.
Когда данную величайшую композицию превращают в дерьмо . А каком Джазе идёт речь А??????????
I think it’s called bebop and it you think it’s crap you are not ready for real JAZZ
Cringe worthy
