Would love to see a draw-through setup. super retro ;).
On the road, running an intercooler can be an issue with fuel dropout. In a boat application where you're basically 'on the throttle' all the time, I'd see this being "far less of" to a "non-issue". Also in the event of a back fire, with an intercooler full of fuel and air, you've got a good bomb ready to go off... For road use, best to run drawthrough non-intercooled like the OEM's did back in the day.
these days, efi is affordable and closed loop tuning makes life so much easier with regards to tuning.

Look at the early Australian Strata turbo kits, draw thru pretty cool and began being fitted to aussie holden 6 cylinder stuff in late 60'. Also Mike Vine Turbo center here in Australia did a load of draw thru gear. Draw thru works great, like anything you just need the correct parts combination

I had a 70' to early 80'S kit, a Turbosonic draw through. It worked really well, we guessed it made about 425 hp with a low compression 350

I always wanted to see how 8 Mikuni snowmobile style carburetors would run on a V8.

Draw through, blow through. Fuel injectted turbos and blowers are all great ill watch it all. I am curious though if pre cooling the fuel might get you close to injection performance.

I have ford 300 with a clifford intake with bosses for injectors. I want to use a draw through turbo with chevy tbi only for extra cooling for long climbs.

I would love to see how long an eBay turbo lasts in a drawthru application. As long as it doesn’t completely grenade you’d only be out a hundred or two.

Stumbled on this video researching to draw through turbo my ford 300.
Is there any issue with running an eddlebroken carb?

I would love to bring you a ford 300 and a turbo from a 1980 trans am. I have a clifford intake and a tbi and intake from a chevy 454. I even have a microsquirt to run the injectors.

also do you think repurposing a tial style wastgate in front of cat converter as an exhaust bypass on demand would free up enough air flow to benefit boosted cars? Valved from cockpit.. (off road only of course)!😎

Interesting! I mean 🤔 when you buy a used vehicle with turbo 9 times out of 10 the turbo doesn't work because the unleaded fuel and high temps would burn them up. Early 80's monte carlo's had 3.8 Buick engines with 4bbl. and turbos that when running proper was insane for it's time but turbos consistently failing. I figure that's why supercharging has become the go to source for the big manufactures.

DRAW through turbo on an ford 300 I6 running a 4 bbl intake manifold vs stock

Utilizing a vintage Banks TT BBC "single 4bbl" set up....
Will "wet" turbos live in a dry environment ??
Obviously MP EFI with Timing,Boost & possibly knock control, with the addition of ADI injection would be the modern way to go,which is what I'm pursuing.
Placement of Lt & Rt bank O/2 sensors in the water jacketed exhaust pipes that exit thru the Transom is My current point of research.

the turbos with a carbon seal don't care whether you run fuel through them or not

10K is not at all like 1000 hp, the number of guys running 10K can be counted on 1 hand. The number of 1000-hp combos could likely not be counted
