Hey guys thank you . I was pretty sure on how to do it . Really I do know how but getting a Chance to see that you are going to do it right is awesome. Not something you do everyday. Thanks guys
Thank you for this video it helped out tremendously! Middle of summer San Antonio Texas we are averaging a hundred degree weather and I have a 2 year old blower motor just went out maybe a couple of months ago, again thank you

Two little clips on the ecu. Tug your ecu towards drivers side and it will slip off of the bracket. Making life easier for those of you with that problem.
Great tutorial...I'm gonna do my 94 GMC Suburban real soon....it's chirping on high. Anyway, at 3:35 a little shot of WD-40 on the shaft would have made removal of fan easier....
The new blower motor I ordered from y’all has a part glued in front of where the cooling tube is attached. I removed the tape that was there to keep things out during shipping and it looks like an internal ring is supposed to glue to the inside and have a spot that lines up with the holes, but it covers 1/3 of the hole and the cooling tube won’t attach to it
This video was helpful with the replacement, but my problem was that the new part from 1A Auto didn’t fit The new one was the same shape with all of the holes in the same place, but was like 1:.95 replica and the screws couldn’t line up
With age comes brittleness. A shot of penetrating oil goes a long way to saving the fan. While it's off, cleaning the fan blades with soapy water and an old toothbrush will dramatically improve the airflow too.
+Terry Tripple You could while you were already working on the vehicle. If you need to replace the blower motor, we carry the one shown in this video on our website, Here is a link to them. Hope this helps you out. www.1aauto.com/?RUclips&CTA+Comment&Klw0fEAo
Mine squeals and it sounds like there are leaves or something obstructing it, and it only seems to blow on high, so I ordered one since there are 25% off sales happening due to Black Friday.
Thanks for checking us out! We are only showing to offer the fan as shown in the video. We do not offer a black cover for this item. You may be able to locate something through eBay motors. +EC Truckin
Almost. You're going to have to remove the passenger side kick plate to access the dash mount bolt ( i3mm) behind it. You're also going to want to remove the speaker cover on that side and pull the hold down bolt (7mm) then pry the steel dash frame away from the door post and towards the seat to give yourself enough room to pull the motor. Also if you're running a 6.5l diesel the computer is tucked in behind the glove box . Two spring clips on the front will release the computer ( no need to disconnect it) and the mounting bracket has two screws in the rear that you need to remove as well as two in the front that just have to be loosened. There is no cab air filter in a 94 so a shop vac on the a/c evaporator pocket will probably pull a surprising amount of shmoo out. I know mine did.
I have a 1990 Silverado. I just got the AC working again. Well... I Installed the high pressure cut out switch in the back of the compressor. I wired it to the lead and grounded it to the engine. When I turn on the AC. It works for a little bit and sounds like the defroster fan kicks on. Then the hvac control display shuts off and the ac switches to the defroster vents. When i unplug the pressure switch. The fan doesn't kick on but it works. No clue what's going on
GOD719 theres blend door actuators on these trucks I have a 98 Silverado and got 3 actuators that work all the vent doors, make sure yours are all working sometimes
Sucks, video isn't very useful on a 1994. I have a 96 with a new motor and needed to pull it & install in a 94. 96 on up 15min job. 94 is comparatively a nightmare! Remove ECU, kick plate in door to remove side panel, loosen dash enough to lift etc!
Who the hell puts in a used part? I watched this video because my new fan is deeper than the original so I have to change them out. This doesn’t help me one bit.

my 95 has the computer right to the right of the glove box, making it much more of a bear to get out than this video makes out.
I had to remove the two 7mm holding the computer bracket down in order to remove the cover.
How did you Navigate the computer
My 90 has the computer too. Gotta pull the computer out.
I love how easy these trucks are to work on.
its not that easy on a 94 2500k. there is a ton of things in the way that wasn't shown here.
My 97 Z71 4×4 wasn't like that.much harder.took a while to remove.7\32socket.9/32 socket.Removing glove box was different..hard to explain
Excellent professional video. Thanks !
Doing mine tomorrow thanks for the great video
+Junior Lugo Thanks for checking us out. We hope this helps you get it done! 1aauto.com

They always make it look easy. If it was easy nobody would search for a video on how to do it lol
Do you sell the blower cover ? Can’t find in your inventory. Help?
Where’s your ecu and all the wiring

I'm pretty sure when it blows only on high it's the resistor, no? My son's 95 Chev has this issue right now.
Does this apply to 1990 Chevy as well
Want to know how to replace the resistor on 1995 chevrolet V8 engine.
+Michael Treetop We do not have a video for this repair right now, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Is it possible to buy the black cover for the fan? Can't seem to find it. Mine is all cracked up and falling apart...

One can purchase the actual GM blower motor and wheel (OEM), from Amazon for $56.
Are you making a better mouse trap ? Or just a trap ?
I am assuming the two wires are negative and positive and that's all the wires to the motor Correct?
+Kjw Kjw Yes
My 1995 has coumpter in the way. Not so easy.96 changed coumpter under hood.
How did you navigate the computer
@@randyweflen4067how can I remove the computer
Is this the same for a 94 Silverado ext cab?

It doesn't look like the motor spun smoothly. It looked like it was dragging, not freely. That may be the reason a resistor would blow
Want to know how to change the Resistor in the 1995 chevrolet V8

Ya mine has trucks ecm in the way about 1000 wires going to it. Its in the way .This video does not apply to 95 silverado
My screws were 5.5mm and only 5 screws
This should say 96+ cause 95 and down are terrible to do and not this easy.....
wish the diesels didn’t put the computer right on top seriously
Not the correct years,.
