    I need a third panel for the top of my van to help get me to 10 AM the next day. My other two panels are HQST so I know about their quality.

    Good to know, i need one more panel to complete my 400 Watt system. I have flex panels ATM but i dont think it will matter much if i connect a hard panel such as the HQST to my existing system.

      As long as you match the voltages up as close as you can you should be fine. Here is a video I did recently on that very subject that explains in more detail: ruclips.net/video/9duPXeNkf0k/видео.html

    Is HQST panel compatible with other power station? If yes, wireless should be buy separate to be connected or plug and play.
    Planning to use for a road trip on fridge and small heater.

      @LDSreliance  Год назад +1

      This panel is compatible with any power station that can handle 12V input. But I don't understand your second sentence.

    Want to get your opinion. I'm want to do a ground mount system open land no shadows. Would you go with a less big 300+ watt panels or more 100w panels?

    • @LDSreliance
      @LDSreliance  2 года назад +4

      That is a good question. If you have to pay freight shipping on the 300's it may be cheaper to do 100's. But if they are the same price overall, I'd go with the bigger panels for less wiring and less points of failure.

    • @dsmmike95
      @dsmmike95 2 года назад

      @@LDSreliance that's what I was thinking less. I'm able to pick up the 300+ panels so the shipping isn't a issue with for me.

    • @LDSreliance
      @LDSreliance  2 года назад +2

      Then for sure go with the bigger panels!

    HQST often seems to be selling the same panels as Renogy, but cheaper. Seconds, maybe?

    • @LDSreliance
      @LDSreliance  2 года назад

      They are sister companies. I asked for clarification on the exact nature of their relationship (whether they were made at the same plant, etc.) but didn't get an answer.

      @@LDSreliance My HQST has Renogy printed on the cover of the junction box. Relabeled Renogy panels.

    About the most I can get out of mine is 59 watts.

    • @LDSreliance
      @LDSreliance  Год назад

      That is about right for conditions that aren't optimal. The angle and direction the panels are facing are absolutely critical to the power output. Also the cleanliness of the glass. Measure output when the sun is directly in front of the panel and aimed at the right angle with the glass clean. You should see about 80W give or take. But 59W is pretty consisent with semi-dirty or off-angle conditions.

    Could you review sunpowa? They are dominating the chinese market right now and part of the american market as they are high quality and insanely cheap.

    • @LDSreliance
      @LDSreliance  2 года назад +1

      Are they related to Newpowa? Or is that a coincidence? I don't think I have seen them for sale in the US.

      I think you could copy and paste this for almost all Chinese companies that are selling their brands direct in the United States without a fully staffed American branch office.
