youtube and other platforms disallowing terms like sexual assault is just feeding into why no one else wants to talk about this situation. Having to use the phrase SA is bs, and just makes it easier for guys like David to avoid getting called out.
RUclips has always been way to lax when it comes to sexual assault and pedos. Ethan himself has done quite a few videos exposing it. I don't go full conspiracy, but I do believe that there is a decent percentage of the wealthy elite who do in fact look the other way, if not participate in this type of shit.

The wild thing is, he’s still SO young. Obviously he’s mature in his work ethic but that doesn’t mean he’s well rounded and mature in every aspect. I wonder if he had any trauma in his life when he was around 16 and mentally he’s stuck in that time and seeks out relationships at that age because it comforts him or whatever it may be psychologically. My best friend of 20 years passed away on St. Patrick's Day 2019. I was an honor student at the time, and was taking Honors Neuropsychology. I found out at 11pm she died. I told my work, and they expected me to be at work the next day because she wasn't family. To make it worse my Honors Professor wouldn't give me access to the power points he showed in class. I ended up having to drop my honors position,, but stayed in the course. I ended up having to make my own study material and notes. I paid $2,000 for the class, for the teacher not to help me out. I found out from classmates that what he was teaching in class WASNT ON THE EXAM. HE WAS TEACHING THE WRONG MATERIAL! 3/4 of the class failed. We spoke to the dean but he couldn't do anything because of the professors tenure. Along with this story and more is why I'll be attending grad school out of the country.

As someone with hearing loss, the Zoom teacher makes me so mad. I've had teachers thinking I was ignoring them.
I’m honestly surprised there aren’t more comments about that clip. Also, want to note that the girl who was the target of his anger handled it with such grace and class-“why do I need to be in a bad mood?” If I were in that class, I would have immediately told the teacher off and/or left the zoom and reported him. My sister is hard of hearing and if this happened to her, you better believe I’d be going to that teacher’s office and tearing him a new one.
I was feeling that way with my bf and then his mom told me he has genetic hearing loss in his family. Usually it's just that I'm scared of him not hearing if I fell in the shower or something because he just cannot hear me in there at all but sometimes just irritation. You can hardly talk to his mom because she needs hearing aids and hasn't gotten them yet, and it wasn't so bad before.

The story about the Deaf girl is actually not uncommon; being disabled in college is a nightmare. I had an instructor “misplace” two of my lab reports and give me a C in the class (I got 100% on almost everything) because he didn’t think it was fair to the other students that I had accommodations for my chronic illness/disability. Jeez, so sorry I needed an extra day to get my shit done because I was in the HOSPITAL for a couple days that semester because I hurt my back and I COULDN’T FEEL MY LEGS. (I’m ok now, loose connective tissue makes it so my spine is a bit wobbly, I just pinched some big nerves and after some rest it went back into place).
Also, talking about a student’s disability or accommodations without her express permission is a HUGH FERPA/ADA violation. The other student who brought it up was trying to be a great ally, but the professor had the responsibility to shut it down and say “ok, we need to talk about this privately, I apologize”.
I hope you have reported that professor for all that BS you went through
It's a nightmare, college is made to be hell for anyone with disability, and very few accommodations that you get, you will find someone bitching about it or being very indifferent to your requests
I’ve watched a professor straight up tell the interpreter to not interpret certain things to a deaf student. As if they didn’t deserve to hear r everything going on in class
It's true, colleges give disabled students so much shit just for standing up for themselves and requesting the basic accommodations that they need, that the law has provided for them. A friend of mine is always having to defend herself and speak up against professors/staff that are ignorant, arbitrarily stubborn and unwilling to provide her the equitable learning experience that she needs. So many academics are convinced that you're whiny/lazy if you say anything negative, cause they think that school needs to entail pain for some reason. It's incredibly frustrating.
And the worst part is that the professor (depending on how liked they are) can also affect how the other students treat you. A girl in my band class needed amplification for her cochlear implant, and the professor kept forgetting to put on the microphone, so she’d have to interrupt and ask it be put on so she could hear. This happened every class so you’d think the professor would have remembered, but he didn’t. Then other students started complaining that she was taking up class time and distrusting the flow, “like get over it”. The person next to me felt that way and I was quick to shut that shit down. It was all on the professor for making the student’s needs feel like an after thought/inconvenience

I’m a full time cashier at goodwill while also a college student. I am depressed and worn out and a lot of the times customers are rude or just don’t care. I appreciate people like your dad and Zach and people that try to make conversation because it like actually makes my day. I don’t talk to many people outside of work and spend so much time at my job so when people make the extra effort to talk, you don’t understand how much it brightens my day. I still love you Ethan and it’s so hard to put your self in that perspective when you’re talking to “some random cashier” while you’re just trying to buy something. But it’s some people’s full time job and they’re still people that can be going through some rough stuff. People making a little effort to talk or be nice like LITERALLY makes my whole day ♥️

if you want customers to talk to you at the register then switch to a grocery store bc you have a lot more items to scan so you spend more time with each customer. it's unlikely that most customers will want to get in a conversation with a clothing store cashier bc they usually only have a few items and then you're done so most customers want to get out of there and not hold up the line. plus the checkout is the end of their shopping experience, they could be tired from trying things on, and so they just want to get home
I appreciate goodwill and the workers VERY much, goodwill is one of the very few whole do vouchers for people and families in need, I've been buying my work clothes there for the last 15 years(I'm a contractor) and I try to donate when I can, plus they hire just about anyone

I work in retail and I wish that everyone was like Ethan and didn't want to talk, a polite "hi" is enough. The worst are middle aged/older people who always assume that I'm studying and when I say that I'm happy just working they try to encourage me to do something better with my life, its really condescending and rude.

It’s true I do get offended when people say that to me (I actually got a bachelors degree and couldn’t find a job to use it on, so I bartend) and it does kind of hurt my feelings when they make comments like “what are you doing here...?”
That being said I do like talking to customers at my job. Helps pass the time and I meet some really great people. Sometimes I even make their day, which makes my life feel meaningful. Im sure it’s just a personal preference. I do have like a weird complex about people telling me what I should be doing with my life tho. I agree with you there.

yeah, but idk why people are sympathizing with him. he's being smart by staying quiet since it's only been a week. That being said tho, he has to get used to getting backlash bc otherwise he'll probably end up quitting. When you're in the spotlight, you get hate, you get deathreats, you can even get doxxed.
