Looking forward to watching your reactions to this brilliant show. I wish i could watch them all again like it was the first time, I envy you, you are in for a real treat. Subbed.
Ham, the first chimp into space, did pull levers for banana flavoured rewards , but only to test if they could move or survive, not to steer or launch the craft.. Almost all those in orbit all returned safe.
KArls actually right about the senses. The 5 senses stem back to aristotle. but we now know there to be between 11 and 17 depending on definition. it includes things like hunger, thirst, heat, pain. those are things we sense. and yes we even have whats called "gaze perception", the ability to sense something looking at us, an evolutionary trait from prehistorical man who were also prey to large predators. This particular one is over-sensitive, because those who felt something staring at them and freak out and run away would more likely survive. and so those who were over-sensitive and would feel a gaze/presence when there was none may use up calories unnecessarily running away from a non-existent predator but atleast would survive when there WAS a predator. but those who were under-sensitive would not run even when a predator was there. This is why we often feel a presence in like a dark room/haunted house. its that gaze perception being overly-sensitive and feeling fearful of something that isn't there
There's loads of them, he's right. eg. proprioception, which the police test when checking for drunk driving - they make you touch your nose. Ricky is just colossally arrogant and lacks the ability to take the Socratic approach and acknowledge his own ignorance. He's fairly clever, but not half as much as he thinks.
The 'F-f-f-ffff-haaah! Ffffffuck off!' from Ricky(after Karl says NASA knew the monkey wanted to go back to space from 'the way it looked') is one of the best pieces of swearing in the history of the spoken word.
@@lunareacts2709 heheh thanks Yh I checked out the first two so far and they’re amazing. Gonna watch the next few tomorrow. Anyway glad I found ur channel keep up the amazing work ❤️
I discovered Karl when I first started smoking years ago and I gotta say it's still 1 of the best pairings
As long as I don’t toke and go to social gatherings it helps with my anxiety

Ahhhh interesting! Thank you! I did not know
by the way i am irish but have dual citizenship and live in oklahoma.
I don't think Karl is dumb, but he's so insulated and stuck in his own northern-English worldview.
I love this series and I will absolutely watch every single one of your reactions to it lol
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
Hiya, more episodes please, next ones a bit crude, but still really funny.
