What are those headphones he's using?. They look like they were designed for use with this. Do they come with it or are they an extra purchase?. Thanks. (Forget it he answered this question at the end of the video, cool).
They're the standard ps5 offering.
@@owensparks5013 ok cheers for answering

@@bamban_garcia5562 Awesome answer . thanks bro
Gonna wait for some games and then I'm gonna buy. Until then I'm gonna have fun with my oculus quest🤪
aht aht thats “meta” quest to you sir
@@professionaldunce1981 meta quest sounds weird to me
@@professionaldunce1981 nah. Quest 2 sounds better lmao
Ye same if games like boneworks and hard bulllet and stuff don’t come to psvr 2 them il stick with plutosphere on my quest 2
Any idea on release date?
"... made my hand start to cramp and tire after playing for 20 minutes or so.." hah! lightweight! 😂
Yeah he really sounded weak 🤣
You can just tell the guy never played any of the Olympic games, hitting A & B over and over, now that's cramp
My guy can’t hold a tiny button for more than 20 minutes🤣🤣🤣
Definitely will come with those earbuds the first ps vr came with
4:19 It seems that Sony sacrificed integrated audio so they can onboard other parts in their headset.
PSVR2 with integrated audio would be horrendous. We want upgrade paths, not to he stuck with whatever was given us
@@mog_3825 well on the valve index and he reverb 2 it works awesome. Off ear high quality audio works better than headphones on vr. Great sound without being cumbersome and hot. Playstation should have done the same with included audio port if you want headphones like index does.
Is that about the same resolution as the ocolus 2?
Not at all.
PSVR2 is far above Quest 2 in many ways.
4K HDR OLED vs LCD no HDR 1800p
Eye tracking, foveated rendering, 3D audio, overall comfort and halo strap, haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, high quality VR games that rival PC VR then exclusives.
Quest 2 being standalone has a very big weakness too. Games look like ps2-ps3 era at best. PS5 will makes PSVR2 on a different level
And for Quest 2 to do so, it needs to be connected to a high end PC which costs more than 1000$. And that will give compressed data and high latency too.
So PSVR2 is the best option for deep gaming. Quest2 is for social media
Is Sony is smart, the PSVR2 will be compatible with PCs. That would widen both the consumer base and available titles to play.
Legit no reason it couldn't be. The ps5 is a watered down PC, while the headset is functionally the same as every other headset. It would just need drivers and a PC app that let's you access sonys VR titles.
Sony is smart but they're greedy, they like that proprietary hardware. But let's hope I'm wrong.
@@Booneface they’re not that smart lmao
Keep dreaming.
If you think of that headset as a controller, why not after all you can use a dual shock on a PC. They just need to think smart
Great preview and nice arms.
An honest review in the modern age? Consider me surprised.
Honest=negative/tepid
Overhyped=positive/excited
Do we know what price piont this is coming in it? And what games we will have at release.
Top video 👍
If it works with pc also, ill buy it in a heartbeat.
same
obv it wont, its for playstation
@@clapsmccheeky if it won't, we won't buy it. VR headsets NEED to support PC, matter what.
@@clapsmccheeky hopefully if it's they change their minds, since VR is still niche
What a shame right? It's a reasonable contender against the other VR headsets. My GPU could really take advantage of it's 120hz output.
Does the PSVR2 headset feel lighter than the PSVR1 and if yes by how much? PSVR1 felt heavy after a while imho.
This might be important for vr in general.
It is, let's hope we get a huge shooter on the PSVR2 to attract those who are used to play on console it will change everything for VR then
You could always use smaller headphones mate.
Meh, nothing really blows me away aside from the eye tracking. The lack of integrated headphones is a big oversight for me.
Agreed
That was my takeaway too. Using Sony's own official headphones is cumbersome? How are
It's to keep cost down presumably. Anyone can put any headphones or earphones they want in, easily and cheaply, and they probably don't have to buy anything extra to do so. Adding headphones to an already expensive HMD (high res OLED with eye tracking) will just make it inaccessible to even more people. Sony are about cheap market adoption, then expensive licenced software, they want as many people to have the hardware as possible.
Who doesn't already have headphones? Don't bother me.
@@idhindsight I've used multiple third party headphones with PSVR1 with zero problems and this design is essentially the same. Think this reviewer just had one to many cocktails beforehand.
Do you need screen to play bring games or just headset itself can be launched playstation desktop
