I read the manga. Currently, there are no kissing scenes from them but they did realize that they have feelings for each other. There's development y'all!
I think the best part about this scene is how differently Yato handled the situation. When Hiyori was upset and uncomfortable the first time with Fuji he used it as an excuse to get a kiss from her, but with Yato he realized she was upset and tried to get them both away from a place and situation he thought was upsetting her. Even apologizing for putting her into that position. I don't think we'll get a season 3 (or at least not for a few years yet) but god damn I'm really glad I didn't miss out on this show
I think it was okay that they didn't kiss. Remember that Fujisaki kissed her in the same place that they are now. It clearly upset her. I think this little moment is fine. It was really sweet!
