- Recovery Simon’s big Iveco daily comes in for a serious high speed refresh!! She’s done 250,000 miles in two years and it’s definitely starting to show
Follow us as we attempt a high speed rebuild to get it back on the road asap Авто/Мото
It's refreshing to see a vehicle being overhauled rather than just being scrapped! We live in a throw away society now. Great work.
Good to see an old broken truck given a new lease of life
I was wondering why I keep watching you fellas? I realise it takes me back to garages in the seventies, a time when mechanics were mechanics and knowledge meant something. Great vid, great entertainment!
I was always told that IVECO stood for If Vehicle Expires Call Office, but having watched this I think I'll change it to evaporates instead of expires.
Loving this type of video.
It Vibrates Everything Comes Off
I thought it stood for
It
Vibrates
Everything
Comes
Off
Iveco, 100% environmentally friendly, the bits you don't need will just fall off 😂
Hi 👋🏻 Al & Fudge 😊 Nothing better that you fixing than just scraping them 👍🏻 This is what’s absolutely fantastic about your channel and you can learn so much from the both of you 👍🏻
I love that you just so happened to have randomly another cab and lump of chassis just kicking about 😂😂
So much knowledge and so layed back attitude can't stop watching . And the best thing you repair .not just throw it away and get a new one excellent
Preventatitititive maintenance is the new philosophy
A very intetesting video and saving the life of a hard working truck
Definitely more videos like this, so interesting seeing a truck being given a new lease of life not just thrown away, hopefully there will be more videos showing the rebuild of this Iveco, Peugeot ing to come.on Sunday, cannot wait for that, best wishes to you and Fudgey.
That truck needs stickers on the doors saying 'Broom of Trigger' 🤣
Love the way you "just happen to have" bits lying around! A true mechanic who can see that something can be re-used another day. I did think that it may have been cheaper to scrap it and buy another but with todays high prices of vans (shit ones) come to the conclusion that all that work will be cheaper! Look forward to the next update on the Iveco.
I love the fact that you don't sugar coat the bits of the jobs that are a right chew on. There's always something that will fight you on stuff of this age and mileage. Keep up the ace work fellas, easily my favorite YT channel.
Loved the way you ran through what you were going through to do and why you were doing it
Impressive rebuild. It's liberating to see how you skillfully do such projects. Ready to become a channel member too.
Jobs like that are like a months worth of rainy Mondays rolled into 1.
Yes, torsion bar suspensions on old vans can be a bit of a challenge. Good job done
Love the true mechanics hard graft to keep’em going
Great to see you at working making good a vehicle that is not worn out!
Iveco pioneered the worlds first biodegradable vehicle
I think your green mk3 Iveco is blushing 😂 ( red ), having gutted the chassis, I would have investigated 🔎 fitting a reserve fuel tank for those far away recoveries 😮 congratulations Al ❤😊
It's what I call an epic . Brilliant.
can't wait for part 2
It's good to see this kind of work being done as it gives an insight into the graft it can take to get your vehicle back to a usable condition. Good work and good luck.
Great video Al and Fudge. Always look forward to your videos. There doesn't seem to be much you can't fix. Have a good week. Marc from Australia 🇦🇺
Al brilliant stuff love what your doing with the iveco truck saving the old girl to fight another day looking forward to seeing the next episode to be totally honest Al what ever you and fudge are doing is interesting and informative
GREAT CONTENT LOVE THE PROGRAMME KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BEST PROGRAM ON RUclips THANKS FOR SHARING FROM TERRY AND HAZEL
Our pleasure madam 👍
Seems like a standard project, starts off as a bit of a quick rust fix, that turns into a stripdown and nut & bolt restoration... :P
Al your videos are fantastic love to see a skilled old school mechanic rebuilding good old trucks vans that will outlast the modern euro 6 stuff off today keep up the good work No Ev in sight
😅p
Unbelievable amount of work you guys are hellova guys
Cheers fella 👍
Great video as always Al.
Just done the very same with my Iveco 65c15 Managed to fit a 2018 cab with a bit of improvisation 😂
Top quality we did consider a new shape cab, I’ve got another one coming that’s going to be a proper monster 👍
Show some of the clip al we love your choice words 🤣 👍 😊
a vid on you two sweeping the floor would be better than nothing just do what you do big al and your 5 foot 6 ness
Great video again Doctor'of anything mechanical Al and Fudge carry on again lol
Brilliant video.
It's my hubby's birthday tomorrow (5th) and was wondering if you both could do a short video message and wish him a happy birthday please? I've sent off to have a hoodie done for Frank too. Top quality eternal gratefulness from me!
Darn fudge is off laid up with a bad back otherwise we happily do so 👍
Ah a rusty cab! This reminds me of mot time every year on my Mazda bongo! The amount of rust to deal with on the thing is crazy😅it’s like marmite though and annoyingly for my wallet, I love driving it!
I really enjoyed it. Thanks
If in doubt give it a clout!
First time commenting, but just got to say, love the channel mate ❤❤
Cheers fella 👍
Well, that all looks fairly straightforward.
Christ that's some work boys 😳 I can see the logic though, while your that far into it, might aswell go through it.
That looks an absolute two hat of a job… I work for a big utility company and we’ve had a fleet of IVECOs for years - Mk3s onwards. One of the lads reckon it stands for I Vibrate and Everything Comes Off…
That’s magic. You could say Abra-cab-dabra and with a quick wave of a magic wand it’ll be converted back into a useable vehicle.
Brilliant video on the poor iveco… no doubt you’ll straighten her out ready for work again 👍🏼
Now that's a rare cab is rare as like you say they really like rotting but it's part of Ford company (Am I right) and you really like a big challenge so but you're saveing another truck but good job you had that cab sitting around the yard like the many other vehicles and parts you have but you know wat your doing to make it all fit and work 👍
Great video lads👍
Great video Al brings back memories of my time in an iveco ford dealer in the late 80s early 90s doing tortion bars on 35 10 daily panel vans look forward to seeing the end result 👍
Thank gawd gents wimboredon on telly losing the will, and you’ve saved the week
I had iveco it had the same problem it decided to deslove. Nice to see one being brought back to life.😊👍
Al, Nice to see you reuse the rust free cab that's going to save your customer lots of messing around.
Really looking forward to seeing how she turns out pal.
Stone the crows....😮 You've got a job and a half on there boys!! Good old truck those Ivecos....apart from disintegrating under your feet 🤣 great vid, cheers 👍
Great video as always - if that Doka isn’t for sale can you at least get it out & do a video on it 😂
Ha no sadly she’s not and we might depend on what the owner is going to do with it 👍
Hi Al loving this content keep it up. By the way i think this iveco was ahead of the goverments plan to make them recyclable, i mean where else do you get a vehicle self destruct than this.😂
The auld capri looks good. Great video
WOW, that is going to be a challenge Al, and you and fudgy are the guys for it. Always learn a lot from your videos and your a very knowledgeable guy and every video is a school day for learning mechanical goodness and body structure safety. Great video as usual Al and thank you for your time in doing this youtube malarkey. 👍👍👍👍👍
Cheers fella and a pleasure 👍
Great video as always lads, thankyou. We had Ford D series and Cargos, on our fleet, 7.5t up to 17t and although they were great trucks, it's very fair to say that the cabs would put themselves further down the road of self lightning during a tea break. The 3.5t mk1 iveco daily we gleefully inherited from another depot, would self lighten before we even managed to put the kettle on!!!! It was no slouch, but christ on a bike was it deafening and rattely as hell to drive!!
Kerist you certainly got yourself a little rebuild in hand there , that is a serious amout of work to do
you lads are real grafters 💯
Hi Al, great video, you do some good work and I can symaphise with you on relucant parts not wishing come apart, having been doing vehicle work for 57 years now. Looking forward to the next chapter on the Iveco.
Brilliant,
Excellent video mate, always like watching these project videos. Bit of work there for the pair of you but it'll be done right. I Look forward to the next one.
6D Diesels the place where jobs get done properly I'm not saying they all get finished but ALs got all the right intentions 😉👌👍🏻
Wow alot of work.new can etc it will cost but be worth every penny if it earns a living
yea love it
Funny looking Audi TT Al 🙂
A treat for a wednesday
Love all the videos you do,than you 👍👍
That was a mission al leave the other side sweet heart paint it cab on and obviously mot it and she's good to go boom
This is great 🎉
You guys are just ace 👌
Brilliant video Al keep it up guys
Amazing work chaps
Great watch.
Great video guy’s 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪👍👍
Like it.
Do like Dailys, I've driven a few of various sizes, and they almost all go like the proverbial stabbed rat. I'm not blind to their deficiencies though, and the unexpected ventilation/speed holes certainly do magically appear whether you're watching them or not. Ominous sounding front suspension rattles not uncommon either.
Yesssss🎉🎉
Good evening gentlemen
Could do with you for 5 minutes al to get my toyota dyna going by the way good job as usual keep up the good work
Iveco from new, you will never need a new battery, cos by then there is nowhere to put it...Dust to dust, iron oxide to earth...RIP.,
Looking forward to the transformation!
Wouldn’t it be cheaper to buy a new truck? 😂
but there wouldnt be a vid tho eh
No…. And this one works really well 👍
a new one circa 85k ? would you?
We had 4 of them our company bought them for comparison to the mercs. Imho there was NO comparison . Gutless and heavy on fuel . Give me a 311 any day 😂😂
Toyota forklift should be renamed Toybota
Best £500 I’ve ever spent !!
Beaver 🫶
Top video Al panel beaters dream😅
May be as extra pay per view content you losing your s..t with things like torsion bar relievers might make up for the split and barked knuckles...
And we all know why fudgy didn't do the hammering it's because he's only plated to 3.5 tonne and you are the full 7.5 tonne😂😂😂😂
Going forward to the transformation
Did i spy fudgys capri in primer with the new wheels on
Another great video has always al and fudgy 👍
Indeed you did 👍
Can't wait to see the paint on it 👍
What's the red truck behind you on the bus seat?
Vw t4 chassis cab 👍
Nice bit of spannering chaps. Really want to see the footage of you guys losing the plot with that torsion bar🤬 I'm sure swearing is as good as WD for loosening things up😂
Now then lads al I watch every episode you do love it im looking for a motohome about 2004 what is the best one to have was thinking ov a Mercedes diesel engine and gearbox what would you go for want speed comfort fuel ecomony mpg and reliability or what another make ov engine whould you have please let me know please
Hymer always a good choice merc based obviously, le strada isn’t a bad choice if you want more of a van than a coach built ( on of our customer has one on ebay for sale) 👍
@6DDIESELSDorset I'm thinking ov the HYMER mercedes based one 2004 2.7 mercedes automatic
very intresting and well explained is fudgey ok dident sound to good
Yes hasn’t fallen over yet 👍
Iveco fills in the gap between
"mass_ _ _ _ _ck"
While a very interesting build, was it a financially viable job compared to just buying another cab and chassis
Yes but only just! Plus he’s quite attached to it lol 👍
Brilliant ❤❤❤
