The list I have from Los Angeles government website is just AIN numbers, their minimum prices, legal descriptions ( which I couldn't understand most of them) and property locations which are the cities where they are in. How do I know their specific addresses and some brief information such as lot size? I don't want to buy 1sqt of land for $10,000. Thank you.
Hi Tina, you would use the parcel number - which would be the AIN and use the Geographic Information System to review the property and get additional details We do have a one day virtual event coming up Sunday that would be beneficial to attend: tedthomas.com/1dayworkshop - Ted Thomas Team.
What properties are the banks with mortgages on those properties wanting back? In terms of price. Or do they want all of their properties back? What type of investor is at the auction? Thanks.
Hi Gary, thank you for your question but I am a little confused on what you are asking. Can you ask the question in a different way? Thank you! - Ted Thomas team
Great information , but you been around for 30 years so you said you can change a house but not a neighborhoods, i don't agree because you can change a neighborhood these days and it's one word called gentrification and that been changing neighborhoods for few decades now all over the states.
Thanks for your statement. I looked up gentrification on google and this is what is says: the process whereby the character of a poor urban area is changed by wealthier people moving in, improving housing, and attracting new businesses, typically displacing current inhabitants in the process.
Have you ever been successful contacting the owner before the auction? Meaning, have you made a deal with the owner to pay their back taxes, and give them money to transfer ownership of their property to you at a highly discounted rate?
Thanks for asking your question, I do not buy properties before the auction. I prefer to purchase at the auction because the auction wipes out other liens on the property and if you buy directly before the auction the liens will have remained on the property. keep studying! - Ted Thomas
Thanks Ted great information.

Hi Jason, you would go to the county treasurer if they did offer over the counter properties in that county - Ted Thomas Team
