I have been in sales for 4 years now, I think a good take away that would help your client on that call substantially and you can possibly implement in your community is helping them over come objections to get that client to be invested and certain in his product/service he's offering. He needs to handle that objection before hand, make sure all the decision makers are on the call. He also needs to build more pain, The client did not see the value in what he was offering... Hence why he wanted to think about it and needed to talk to his girlfriend(It's bullshit).. He probably thought there was something else out there, maybe better, cheaper, more efficient. Understand the customers why, discover why they feel they need your service or what there problem is there trying to solve... Ask why would it help them? Why do you feel they feel they need a service like this instead of doing it on there own? Why is it important to them that they have someone take this part of there business over for them? asking the customer why questions and understanding them more is going to build there PAIN... When you think you have asked enough questions you go another layer deeper. After understanding there why ask them consequence questions, What would happen... If you decided to do nothing at all? What do you think you would do then? Have you thought about what would happen if you couldn’t find another service that was affordable and made sense? What would you do then? Once you have them feeling the pain of why they need it and under there concerns and worries you solve there problem and close them. With confidence
