SUPER helpful. I’m about to leave full time traditional teaching abroad and hope to switch to AllSchool first and maybe Outschool when I move back to the US.
Hello professor Thank you so much for your help and advice. I really appreciate your job. I wish you peace and happiness under the sky of prosperity. All the best. Your follower from Algeria.
Thank you so much for this video! It was very helpful the way you compared/contrasted the two platforms allowing everyone to see in advance the issues that might arise.
@@ESLTeacher365 I applied for outschool Sep 12 got accepted first try after researching how to make the perfect video and application but no one has signed up its so hard to market your own classes I never have success in that way. Other tutoring platforms have opportunities there and allow you to choose based on availability.
I’ve just been accepted on both platforms and it’s hard to get any courses approved on OutSchool so I guess I’ll have to reuse the same class I set up for AllSchool. Shame, because wanted to teach something different.
Open up as many time slots as possible to see what sticks. Try all the different class types. Make sure your listings look consistent - use the same brand colors and fonts and add your photo. Make a class video for each class. It’s a lot of trial and error, but can be very worth it!
Unfortunately will not apply to any coz I am not in one of the countries mentioned, but it's ok , just would like to thank you again for the great content out there for us as newbies
I have a drivers license and Social Security number, and birth certificate… But I do not have a passport at this time. Can I still apply to all school?
Hello! Thank you for the video! I'm just planning to start outschool courses, and one question came to my mind: how does the school limit the ability to just go to zoom with your teacher, leaving the outchool platform? 🤔

Great video Jamie, thanks for the info!
You're welcome!
I just posted my first classes on Allschool...I hope I get some students soon
Nice! I recommend opening a lot of different sections at different times and targeting Asian timezones. What subject are you teaching?
@ESL Teacher 365
Reading and Writing in English. I taught for Vipkids and I want to do that kind of style for Allschool.

What subject are you teaching? Which kind of classes are you doing (flex, ongoing, etc)? I’ve never had issues getting courses approved.
Thank you very much.
I just started teaching music and improv classes on outschool. Still trying to figure out the best way to advertise and get enrollments.

If you aren't from one of the eligible countries, then I recommend freelance online teaching!

That should be enough. :)
Since outschool allows you to teach subjects other than English, do you think it is possible to teach another language like Spanish there?
Yes! There are lots of language teachers on there. Spanish, French, Arabic, etc.
@@ESLTeacher365 thank you for your response!

🤔
For safety reasons you can only use Zoom and you cannot contact students off the platform. There is a messaging system that you can use.
