      I have often thought that too. Perhaps they are under glass at the Reagan Library, or they just went back to whoever lent them. The President of the United States carries no cash or credit card on his person. Later when he visited his boyhood home in Dixon, IL he asked the Secret Service for a few pennies to hide them under a tile in front of the fireplace, as he did when a boy.

    I still remember that during the President Reagan and President Bush’s eras, economy was very strong, defense capabilities were very strong, crimes in societies were very low, Americans were very happy and united by America’s greatness and patriotism spirit altogether, take care of families and build our country America’s greatness by hardworking efforts together. When we were walking out on the streets, always saying hi and how are you toward each other for greetings. America’s world leadership status efforts were very strong and supported by many allies together and walked toward freedoms, entrepreneurship spirit and equality of the opportunities greatness and kindness nature together. Our country America’s unity were strong as one nation America’s greatness, principles and kindness nature toward America’s recognitions and principles, greatness and strength, safety, prosperity and unity, Americans’ happiness altogether peacefully, firmly by carrying American dreams together toward shining hill confidently.
    This is why whatever we do, ensuring strong economy growing to support defense capabilities to ensure America’s safety, prosperity and unity by our country America’s own principles of Constitution laws together to preserve freedoms, entrepreneurship spirit and equality of the opportunities are extremely important always. Inflations are bad things to continue. Dramatically increased minimum wage won’t be able to cover dramatic inflation. However, at the time reasonable minimum wage increase, stopped or avoid inflation as well as increased entrepreneurship spirit by equality of the opportunities principles by booming small business growing quickly. Overly high minimum wage accompanied with dramatic inflations, it will make America made products harder or much harder to compete as well as can’t make Americans live better life together, because jobless situations accompanied with dramatic inflations, actually can be very hard for Americans to face. Hardworking will help learning opportunities and experiences. Wages could increase, job could be changed to suit own educations, learning opportunities and experiences. Life could be better by stable jobs and booming economy growing, safe societies and without inflation impacts. American dreams are spreading on and on strongly, because this is America and America’s greatness accompanied with America’s principles and confidence toward America’s recognitions and principles together. America’s world leadership status efforts were very strong, freedoms and equality of the opportunities spread quickly. More freedoms would maintain, less freedoms would have more, none freedoms would have bit, or some at the time. Only America’s strong economy growing will be able to support strong defense capabilities for safety. Principles of the freedoms, entrepreneurship spirit and equality of the opportunities as kindness nature toward Americans of all will help unity. Togetherness for preserving, protecting and defending America’s own recognitions and principles by America’s patriotism spirit and efforts together will help grace, harmony and peace by getting things done quickly together again. America for Americans’ happiness, because only Americans’ happiness will be able to convince the world leadership status efforts are great. If America’s freedoms, entrepreneurship spirit and equality of the opportunities are gone or limited, terrorism activities and ideologies influences will be high quickly.
    Different systems of countries don’t have to be adapt each other’s recognitions and principles. Russia is Russia, Iran is Iran, China is China…etc., but America 🇺🇸 is America always by own established Constitution laws to preserve, protect and defend our country America’s recognitions and principles of freedoms, entrepreneurship spirit and equality of the opportunities for America’s greatness and strength accompanied with Americans’ happiness as kindness nature together by the best policies through learning and doing better things quickly together and govern bylaws instead of governing by changing our country into unknown quickly. If ignoring America’s greatness and strength, unity and kindness, principles and recognitions, we will be too late to regret by loosing greatness, strength and happiness quickly together. Getting things done quickly together by learning quickly and doing better things quickly to heal our nation quickly together, things will be done quickly and govern bylaws afterwards quickly as one united nation America’s greatness, so peaceful and harmonious, principles recognized, strong economy growing and defense capabilities focused, safety of the societies, harmony domestically and peace efforts in the world, support each other between alliances by best or better policies together, all will be able to achieve quickly. Different systems of countries are separate entities. America’s strength will be the most important thing toward achieving America’s greatness, strength and happiness. America 🇺🇸 is unique. America 🇺🇸 is still strongest country as long as not screw up ourselves by mistakes, but change mistakes quickly and continue accomplishments by getting things done quickly and govern bylaws afterwards together quickly together again. Build up America’s allies for righteousness of the freedoms, entrepreneurship spirit and equality of opportunities principles together. Ease tenses to avoid unnecessary wars as well as establishing strength quickly, because peace will come from strength. Winning by strategies, achieve by best policies. America’s prosperity, strength and happiness have been come from America’s experiences, efforts and confidence altogether. America’s short histories have never been easy to accomplish America’s greatness, strength and Americans’ happiness by cherish, continue and none stopping freedoms, entrepreneurship spirit and equality of the opportunities of the liberty 🗽 and efforts. I guess the President Reagan and President Bush meant that ways. Let’s pray for America’s greatness, strength and Americans’ happiness by efforts and learning from Constitution laws to change mistakes and continue accomplishments together quickly. God Bless America 🇺🇸🗽♥️☮️✨🌈

      Sadly, you’re right. Love Trump in how he attacks problems in ways that always ensure America is put 1st, but his communication is something that holds him WAY back from Reagan. Ron DeSantis I think has the potential to be a Reagan-esc presidential candidate one day, but time will tell. Either way, this country could sure as shit use a President like Reagan again, one that legitimately brought this country together, both electorally, and popularly, and also was able to truly make America a great nation again after all the hell the late 1970s brought to it.

    He knows he's being dishonest saying interest rates cause inflation if he met with the fed chair at that point. That's actually what stopped the stagflation.

    • @David-fm6go
      @David-fm6go 2 года назад +5

      Actually it's more complicated than that. Deficit funded govt spending was considered to be inflationary by both parties. Post Reagan it was the Democrats who carried this argument forward, becoming the basis for the Clinton tax hikes and the desire for a surplus in the 1990s. This was continued by the blue dog Democrats against Bush until they were wiped out by realignment of non college up country whites to the Republicans, especially in 2010. The concern has declined in both parties bc for so long there has been no inflationary consequences. This is because outsourcing reduces wages and lowers prices, and the massive trade surpluses by China and OPEC have largely been used to buy Treasuries, putting massive downward pressure on interest rates. This allows the US to borrow to insane levels at the consumer, corporate and government levels with effectively zero interest rates and zero inflation at least until recently. This fell apart recently bc of the supply chain disruption and massive subsidization of consumption at a time when people were also shifting money from services towards goods bc of the pandemic, so we have high inflation again.
      When the Fed raises rates, it is reducing the money supply, which is deflationary by definition. When the treasury raises rates through deficit spending it is reallocating some of the existing money supply towards spending by the government which is inflationary.

      LBJ would never give an economic speech such as this, he was too busy putting the money into welfare programs which breaks the bank and helps only a few people. We cannot help everyone, but everyone can help someone. We have today in our country the sad reality of a broken economy and a national debt beyond belief. We need to have an economy which is a balanced budget and free of debt giving liberty for everyone to achieve their full potential. The life of a nation is its economic prosperity. The last two sentences of the speech describe where we are today and where we need to be, the only way we can is to return to these conservative economic polices.

      If only Biden would change his economic policies to Reagan's policies, the trickle-down benefits would arrive. Trump had the same approach of less regulation and lower taxes. Same result as Reagan -- 4% unemployment, low inflation and many more great results. But hey - at least we don't have to read the mean tweets anymore.

    We need to raise the savings rate of the world. We need the global savings rate to expand to 33%. We need to shrink the total size of all nations' work forces over the next 25 years via expedited retirements.
    As we raise the rate of savings of governments, we necessarily will slow government spending.
