I was able to hit GM1 one tricking mercy but the matches are still so bad. I'm sorry you had to witness these bad matches lol and I like that you stood up for that mercy and said that your team was rude. I hate when ppl beg for certain supports when the support doesn't want to play them and aren't the problem.

@ArianaOW same! I was stuck around diamond forever in OW1 so I'm so proud that I was able to solo que and get this high in OW2. I know you can do it to!
Man the people who request for a specific character and rage when you won’t play them are the worst, like I’m terrible with high accuracy type heroes (I play on controller and always struggle to aim accurately), so whenever I get sniper maps I pray the dps can handle the hitscans that’ll be present. Had a game where I was on Junkertown and had a support tell me to swap to Sojourn or Widow to counter theirs, but when I did I just got killed first every fight.
@stevencampbell348 yeah, if I dps lately I mostly one trick symm I just love her and don't really like any other dps. One day I got like 6 potg's in a row as her and thought it was so funny. The enemy keeps acting like symm is cheap and OP but I thought she was low tier just very underrated though

I recently picked up Mercy because I also started watching you and Somnus (Been watching regularly Flats since OW2 came out)

Also, I've been stuck in Silver 4 and 5 (I keep switching from one to the other smh) is there any tips you'd give to beginner ?
Additionally, I played tank before, and I went back to tank for a bit and got to gold 5 so playing support helped me get a better view of how my team moves and how I can help them. So I'd recommend trying support if you're stuck on other roles, it helps, I think.
awe thank you so much! some general tips i would do is try to push damage boost more and to practice her guardian angel in qp/custom games like mercy parkour. a youtuber i highly recommend to watch when it comes to guardian angel + more tips is niandra. ♡

@Ane I am usually good at enemy awareness, but I struggle with being aware of where my team is. I've been killed many times, expecting someone to be where there's actually no one and not be able to get out of a situation where the enemy is trying to focus me. I also have been killed in situations where my team suddenly gets too close to me, so I can't GA out to get some space and stay alive.

personally not a gm player but ive been playing mercy on and off for 5 yrs so heres what ive picked up:
- when gaing, the bar next to your crosshair is how charged you superjump is. crouch midflight to superjump
- early in ga, you can jump to move backwards instead of forwards. very unreliable on console tho
- in ga if you jump near the end, you fly forward in the direction ur facing. look up and you go up, look forward you go forward
- superjump and flying backwards are very helpful in valk imo, but use natural cover
- mini superjumpd like the one around uhh. 1:15? ish? can help secure rez Sometines
- when u rez use cover almost always. you can break los and still revive

This is why I love playing comp in games like overwatch. While I’m trying my hardest I get a laugh sometimes from people getting frustrated with others then themselves. I have had a couple people add me and try to get at me ina sense because when they would get mad at me or a teammate I would just chuckle in game chat. And for some reason they hate it haha. It’s always a good laugh haha. Makes me play better as well👍
