I'm honestly on Kirsche's side. I love sauce and I may put a little too much on the sandwiches or burgers. But they're still good.
No Savvy, you definitely need help. A sandwich without sauce is like a brick wall without mortar.

I once heard about this Italian restaurant in Chicago (I forget the name) where they bring out sandwiches along with this dipping sauce. The sauce makes the sandwich _really_ soggy, but apparently it tastes really good.
As European may I pitch in the DELICIOUS mustards France and Germany can provide and leave bread 100% not-soggy.

Saying you don’t put condiments on your sandwich because it makes the bread soggy, is like saying you don’t put milk in your cereal because it makes that cereal soggy. Like how long does it take you to make a sandwich for it to sog the bread, do you make a sandwich and then come back a week later to eat it?

I feel like anyone who adds Mayo in fact.. are making the sandwich incredibly unhealthy.. like to me sandwiches, in general, are supposed to be SOMEWHAT healthy snack or meal with kind of all natural ingredients and not much else added, maybe something light sauce wise, but not heavy. Now like Burgers are different, but if we're just talking a regular old sandwich.. yeah no.
