That part felt fresh, and was one of the best I've seen in a while. Song is fire, glad someone finally used it.
That last spot will always have a place in my heart I dreamed of that spot over and over since I started skateboarding and never was good enough to do anything at it. In my wildest dreams I never thought something like that could be done. I appreciate this existing in the world.

I had the illusion that skateboarding was fluid, that tricks just happened as you walked. A while later I discovered that the movements were repeated until exhaustion for a take to be filmed. I became even more of a fan of the sport after that.

Seriously… that was a perfect run and I always think of Evol & Sister as a double album, even though they’re a year apart. Sister > Evol, but not by much. And I pretty much watched this video to see someone skate to one of the best Daydream Nation songs; it didn’t disappoint… holy shit.

@@invertedcrown I haven’t seen this, but “Brother James” is an intense song, so I can imagine the vibe already. “The World Looks Red” would be another good one to skate to, as well as “The Burning Spear” from the first mini-LP.
