The last video got me thinking, if someone could reliably get one of those craft cutter machines like the Silhouette set up right and the right type of paper, it may be possible to clone rolls in a semi efficient manner, you’d just need to play with the settings and make sure it feeds the right way, and you could have a way to suddenly mass produce out of print or rare rolls, or if smart enough, convert basic MIDI files to new rolls.

This is such an awesome instrument, you would think because of its uniqueness and sound more places would use them - carnivals, circuses, theme parks, cruises etc...Hell I'd pay to see someone like Joe going to town on one of these! I wonder if there's an instructional video on how to use one of these things for posterity so people can learn how to use them in the future! Glad to see Joe healthy during this pandemic.

Joe, this is the best demonstration I've seen of the Photoplayer! Hilarious. In the 1970s I saw one sitting in an old theater in Southern Idaho. The theater was closed (it has since been restored. But the photoplayer is (gone)? I would have followed up on it back then, but 4 years later a 2/8 theater organ was being installed in my home. Followed by 2 small Wurlitzers. I now have a style 260 3/17. Perhaps I should check out the whereabouts of that old 'player' which would save a lot of space! Cheers!

The video is for everybody, but I thought it meant if it was suitable for children. I clicked the box for children and posted the video. A while layer I visited it again and noticed the comments were turned off. I did some investigating and found that if the video is for children the comments are automatically turned off. Go figure.
