    Repair Jose
Takes about 12.1 liters or 12.8 quarts
Mix of 50/50 distilled water and antifreeze
    8mm for panel screws
    Needle nose pliers
Do not use regular water, because it will create calcium deposits in the cooling system.
    Make sure you use gloves.
Never dispose of the antifreeze in the storm drains or any drain. Treat it the same as oil.
Not a full flush, but close enough
If you add too much distilled water in the mix, it will freeze in the cold weather. Like in NJ when it gets too cold.
Too much antifreeze, it will not transfer heat as well. Pure antifreeze can cause hot spots through poor heat transfer and induce labor knocking or pinging.
    Raise the suspension extra space
When adding coolant, bring the container up to the same level as the coolant expansion reservoir.
Fill the system with distilled water first to clean it, then drain and fill again with proper mix.

Thanks for a great video. I think you are losing vacuum since the conical adapter is not not airtight with the coolant bottle. Also, as you vacuum once you have filled with distilled water , do you see water coming out of the waste bucket?

Thanks for the video. 1. Does This vehicle have a second coolant tank for an intercooler / turbo? 2. My Amg does not get to temp without the coolant tank cap on. Any experiences with that? I cannot extra burp the system because of that and get sloshing when I brake.

Thank you so much for your comment. The intercooler coolant tank is under the middle cover. To be able to get the air out, you have to vacuum the system. Check out my other video on the intercooler flush

Hey Jose, I got a coolant line that broke and needs to be replaced which is part 222-501-41-25 vent hose, one end goes into the reservoir and the other part where it goes into a clip connector broke off, do you know what part that is by chance?

Fantastic video as always, Jose. Ques- is the only way to add coolant to use this vacuum method? Will the car not take the coolant otherwise? Thanks

Thank you so much for your comment. It’s the best way. The pump is not that expensive and it is universal. Totally worth it. You can use it on any car. And of course you can use it to do the other system as well. Even if when buying the pump is cheaper then taking it somewhere.
