Thanks for sharing! I’d say this is one of the most important and informative videos I’ve seen and I hope all the “newbie” bull fighters watch it and use the protective equipment! You probably just saved someone’s life! ❤

Nice presentation, bro. This is something I can watch, and I'm not even a bullfighter. I just love to watch you guys (i.e...... you, Tyckness, Harp, Byrne, Gorham....), twist bulls. Especially, the cowboy protection aspect of the game.

My son got nice ankle braces for football from UltraAnkle braces and look like the ones you showed. He got to the point he could not walk after practice or games cause his ankles were so messed up and we got him the UltraAnkle braces and he was so much better off. I love how that you are showing your gear and you inspire so many people. Keep up the hard work, a job well done for sure.

Cody, I’m glad you went over your safety equipment but one thing is your noggin. How about a hockey helmet for protection? I know it’s not like a cowboy hat but head is a vital organ. Take care.

I’ own some bulls and have been getting into cowboy protection if you or someone out there can tell me where find the safety hook or name of it?

If I could only back up 50 years with this equipment! My first paid bull fight I got my sternum broke plus six ribs. I did get to ride in a ambulance. LOL

Very good video Cody. Glad you did this one. A lot of people think. Just get out there and move the bull. Well, I have never been a bull fighter, yet, I have been a bull rider. Oh yes I got out there a time or twelve to help. What you do is a trained skill, that you must keep improving on.
There are riders now in the circuit that know you are there that night. Not might, but will take that extra step that is risky of getting them hurt or worse. They will take that wrap only because you are in the arena. And they know they are being watched over by the best. And that you will do what ever it takes to get them safe.
Your job is not an easy job and 99% of people can not do this job and for sure do not have even half of the want and heart you do about this job. Great video.

What a great video. Wish it came out last week before I bought my football cleats😂. I don’t fight bulls but I have to step around them from time to time when I film. Thank you for passing your knowledge off!

Good advice . Especially that safety knife, my youngest son is 3rd generation fire/ems and he carries a knife like that . Whether you're cutting thru seat belt, or bull ropes, the knife has to be sharp and safe at the same time. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing. I've wondered on multiple occasions why you don't wear the big cleats. Now I get it.

How many ropes can you cut with 1 knife? I was a bus driver for 12 years and our seat belt cutters are only good for one cut! Thankful I never had to use it. I would like to get a few of the knives you have shared in this video to go in my vehicles and my medical packs! Thank you for you help and information.
