Not many people have. Scania's straight 8 engines are rare. There were 10.3 and 11.3 litre, both petrol and diesel versions, made between 1941 and 1954. From 160 to 180hp. Not very many were made and probably only a few still exist.
@@ontheroadagain4773 As i have been told, they were made for bigger trucks, but the frame coulnt take the torque, so it was put in railway carts. And a few busses.
These streetcars go daily in the summer from Uppsala central station here in Sweden, and out to the countryside on a small historical railroad. They sound fantastic....
