DEFINE ART, DEFINE FREEDOM THROUGH CIVIL RIGHTS
My father the late H L Cranford was the protege of R E Lee 4th Bill Lee and helped build Duke Power into Duke Energy. My father’s father H Lee Cranford died when my father was five and he was cast out to work with the Jim Crow slaves in the fields in the heart of darkness big tobacco. He rose up and shown light into the heart of darkness and provided electric power and the possibility of inclusion to the most cruelly discriminated against. My father administered civil rights for five thousand employees after desegregation ended in 1964 and set the standard for the civil power industry for ten years. A stable black middle class was established in Charlotte NC and fundamentally enabled through this process.
On January 21, 2020 City of Fort Myers, Florida City Attorney Grant Alley told me in the City Hall parking lot “why should we want to do that?” when I asked him if he and his associates had refuted the formula I invented for establishing civil rights for visual art, artists and art history based on art history. The formula also defines the word “art” and which is a word without definition or legal definition. November 18, 2019 in City of Fort Myers, Florida City Hall Chambers I submitted the formula I invented as self evident truth, irrefutable and as an accompaniment to the Pursuit of Happiness of the Constitution of the United States of America. Mr. Mayor spoke in Chambers that the City awaited my report. My January 21,2020 City Of Fort Myers, Florida Art & Culture Grant and 2017 City Of Fort Myers, Florida Grant Recipients Exhibition Post Grant & Exhibition Report Extension featured my formula.
Law and order is a fundamental purpose of governance and is perhaps governance’s highest calling. Establishing civil rights for visual art, artists and art history based on art history will provide the bases for law and order . Establishing civil rights for visual art, artists and art history based on art history and defining the word “art” are vital instruments for democracy and in this time of historic change and unrest.
The City of Fort Myers, Florida never let the citizens know our 2016 City Art and Culture Grants were sponsored by the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation. Our world class City Art and Culture Grants were squandered to thwart the ability to establish new civil rights for visual art, artists and art history based on art history. Our world class Robert Rauschenberg Foundation Art and Culture Grants were thwarted by the City of Fort Myers, Florida to prevent the establishment of civil rights for Computer Handicap Recognition and Icon.
The City of Fort Myers, Florida is creating lawlessness and disorder to prevent the establishment of new civil rights for Computer Handicap Recognition and Icon, civil rights for visual art, artists and art history based one art History and the invention of the legal definition for the word “art”. The City Of Fort Myers, Florida is acting as an agent of tyranny against the Pursuit of Happiness of their own citizens.
