The one enemy type I want to come back more than anything are the Giant Spiders, just imagine a section of an open world forrest filled with webs all over the trees and buildings

You mentioned old and new characters that deserve to come back I would even like to see Jake Wesker retuning in either a new mainline entry or spin off that would be amazing too
Most likely it will be announced at the rumoured Playstation showcase later this month. Resident evil 7, 2 remake, 3 remake, village and 4 remake were all announced at either a playstation showcase or state of play

6:20 i agree tho if theyre gonna bring bk the core 4 (chris,jill,leon and claire) they have to come up with a villain and nt just any villain but the biggest threat those 4 will ever face,i mean ur heroes/story is only as good as ur villain/threat level,like thy cant just put some random former umbrella soldier like in death island and thts it,no thy have to up the stakes big time,and there are a few candidates worthy of tht
-Brandon bailey: leader/founder of the "connections",former umbrella founder/director of african facility (yes the same one in 5) like as if now this guy is the only umbrella founder whos still kicking
-alex/natalia wesker,i dnt rly need to explain tht one x3
-and last but not least : the mysterious umbrella corp leader who may or may nt b a revived albert wesker (DC douglas voiced tht guy in "umbrella corps")
As for threat level : like u need for the endgame badguy/BOW to b a real world ender esp whn leon faced saddler (who was plannin to assimilate all organic life into the plaga) ,or chris who faced albert wesker,HAOS from 6 (which was created specifically to infect the whole world),like again u cant just throw a final boss thts less of a threat than the few i mentioned,otherwise itd feel so meh
State of Decay 2 can make open world zombie game.im sure capcom can we have more chance playing multiple characters if they have it open world like hunk Chris Clair Leon everyone bro
Well according to dusk golem who is reliable in my opinion it’s going to be set in a rural south East Asian town so I’d love to see jill as the main protagonist hunted in the jungle by a stalker enemy. It could potentially right the wrongs of RE3R.
I wanna see a return to zombies thts for sure,but for majority of enemies i want to see real body horror stuff ,like i wanna see enemies tht dnt make me wanna have seggs with them,but enemies thtd horrify/disgust me to my core,and id love if the open world idea be like OG3 (yes it had open world elements to a degree) but better,as for the setting,whenever i hear "singapore" my mind always jumps to movies like "the sadness" or "ebola syndrome" yes ik theyre set in thailand technically but u get the idea,and im a HUGE fan of these movies and the way the environments were portrayed

8:09 in my humble opinion,i think if this is the "endgame" least for the main story the OG1 started yrs ago,thn the final boss should represnet the culmination of all the bioweapons research performed by umbrella,connections,every RE villain group weve seen so far,esp whn two of said pathogens outta the 3 (progenitor and plaga) are directly responsible for life on earth in RE (its been confirmed least in progenitors case) like u need a endboss representin tht,itd give off a real eldtritch type horror without outright resortin to aliens,u know a being tht just wants to assimilate the whole world make it its hivemind where everythin and everyone is part of it ,a "Resident evil" if u will
I think it was a serious mistake for them to kill off Wesker in RE5! Although since then we've had the C Virus and a cloned Ada that kinda cane across as mentally unbalanced soooo whose to say the Wekser in RE5 was the OG Wesker and not a cloned Wesker?!
