As an Italian citizen, I’d like to thank you, Ryan. Judging by the way you talk about Europe in your videos, I can tell you’re a good traveler. You don’t travel the world just to take a few cool pictures, show off and maybe even disrespect the host country in the process; you are genuinely interested in the culture of each and everyone of the places you visit, and that means a lot. Keep up the good work! 💪🏻🇮🇹
Thanks Ema for your kind words! That meant a lot. What part of Italy are you from?
ruclips.net/channel/UCkU8mUfBmqEWI5SsJXVYemQ
@@RyanShirley Northern Italy, Emilia Romagna.
These kinds of villages are the heart of Europe. Tourism has kept them going with an economic base and videos like this help out. I like that you include their history as well as the sights to see. You should do a part 2 some day.
Thanks John! Love your words. I'll make a part 2 soon, maybe I'll do a video only on towns!
Interesting take. I think travelers often overlook small towns and villages, but its these places where you can have the best of both worlds.. peace and nature but access to nearby transportation, goods and services
Great perspective! There's just something special about smaller towns and villages that you can't experience in cities.
Hello again from Mallorca!!!🇺🇾♥️🇪🇸
Thanks mate! Love your island :)
Ryan, thank you for this nice video! One of my favorite village is Oia in Santorini. The first time I saw it in your vlog and this summer I have been there!
Thanks Dmitry! That’s so cool you went this summer. Got any travels soon?
Hey Ryan! Great video! I find it really interesting to see how you select the villages. Some villages I guess we have exactly the same taste and for some our taste differs :) Glad to see 3 Swiss villages in this list! Btw the sheeps at Zermatt are so-called "Black nose sheeps", which are a unique breed that originates from the canton of Valais :)
Thanks Djemo! If I could, I would’ve added even more Swiss villages! You’re video on them was my favorite! And that’s super interesting about the sheep, I want to get some for my grandpas farm in the US 😅🐑
I was in swiss villages shown in this video and Hallstatt as well. My favorites are Rothenburg with the traditional houses and Alberobello with the unique trulli houses^^ Great video, Ryan! Thank you and see you in your next video ☺️
That’s so cool you’ve been to the Swiss villages, those are probably my favorite 🇨🇭🏔😁 I love Rothenburg too!
Fantastic
Every single one of these places are breatakingly majestic & absolutely stunning. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Jasmine! Which one is your favorite?
Loved this! Amazing footage, can't wait to get back to Europe
Thanks Hannah! Where do you want to visit most in Europe?
Love your ability to capture the charming personality of each village!
We gotta go see them all!
Love love love smaller towns! Great video
They are such a vibe!
Amazing stuff, I had a great time in Grindelwald. That village looks like something straight out of storybook.
Grindelwald is one of the most magical places on earth! 🇨🇭😊🏔
Never been, but It's definitely on my bucket list...and I never heard of Wengen before that video, but I definitely want to know more about it!
The clarity of this video gives justice to these beautiful places. How much more if you visited these places, i guess its magical and extraordinary.
Thanks so much Star! Have you been to any of them?
Multi gratias, Ryan! Tantae scenae sublimitas! Europa pulcherrima!
This video displays an innovative and imaginative use of the lush photography to capture the unparalleled beauty of the landscape, the rich history, and unforgettable journey a trip to Europe offers. Each and every location truly offers something unique as the various countries that constitute the continent.
The laid-back narration, coupled with the relaxing musical score, demonstrates a full awareness of the subject matter. It certainly instills a longing of adventure overseas.
All these locations are picturesque and look exciting! However, the two locations I would most want to visit that aren't covered by this list are Sesto Al Reghena and Pederobba, Italy, as these two villages are where my family on my Dad's side come from.
In all, a highly enjoyable video, Ryan. I look forward to more! Keep traveling and stay safe, mate!
Thanks Nathan for you kind words! They mean a lot. I gotta go back to italy and visit the villages your family is from. Just looked them up and they look like some really nice towns.
Thank you So Much. For the wonderful beautiful videos
Of course! Have a favorite village?
Very nice Video, Thank you 👍🏻
Thanks Thaurus!
Great job Ryan ! 😀
Thanks Petr! Hope all is well!
Oh my goodness, such amazing footage...once again!!
Thanks so much Dave! Where is your favorite village?
@@RyanShirley Grunwald has always been top priority on my bucket list,, and I'm very curious about Wengen, which I never heard of before your video!!! Also I was supposed to go to Positano and the Amalfi coast plus Capri in summer 2020, hopefully next summer I will. Cheers!
That's great bro. great video sharing. Wishing you a very happy and successful new year
Thanks friend! :)
Man, cant wait to be able to travel again. Awesome video once again Ryan!
Thanks brother! Where do you want to visit most?
@@RyanShirley Switzerland for its grand awe i think. Japan next on the list tho!
Wow, great video, I really enjoyed it 😊🥰
Thanks so much mate!
Wow,,,this is beautiful👍
Thanks Herlina :)
Amazing images, good job!
Thanks friend !
I will visit zermatt this year. So excited.
You’re gonna have the time of your life🇨🇭🏔
So amazing!!🤩
Let’s go to some more!
I love villages in Europe. The people in Europe keep ancient historical style in their constructions. 😍😆👍😘😀
Hard to beat the magic of Europe :)
Dude….That was FAB!!!
👍🏻
Thanks Terese! Which one was your favorite?
ALL! Landlocked in cornfields and soybeans!
Oh Joy😜
Villages will win over cities every time for me Ryan. Thanks for showing us your favourites.
I completely agree, gotta love the calmness of villages compared to the chaos of cities
Congratulations on such an amazing video dear friend, have a wonderful weekend!!!!🤩😂
Thanks mate!
Europe is stunning, glad I've seen some of it and want to see more. Great video Ryan, thank you!! What I think the U.S. is really missing is castles, if I ever become a billionaire I'm building castles EVERYWHERE in the U.S.. Just White Castles isn't cutting it lol.
I completely agree, the US hardly has any old historical buildings and castles. That's what makes Europe so magical in my opinion.
Pakistan is batter then whole urope
Great video mate. Will visit Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald this winter.
That’ll be amazing! Are you gonna ski there?
@@RyanShirley No I think just visiting and hiking. I live in Zurich for 4 years now and never made it to lauterbrunnen, that's a shame. So this winter I will finally go.
They r so warm and cozy they would all be good places to stay
Where would you want to visit most!
@@RyanShirley probably the ones in Switzerland
I'm glad I found this video
I’m so glad you found it too! Where was your favorite village?
Hi Ryan! This is a beautiful selection of great villages in Europe! it is difficult to choose because Europe has so many beautiful places! But please in Zermatt you have to eat a typical Swiss Raclette or Fondue :-) Thank you for sharing your wonderful video! Have a great weekend! Martin
Thanks Martin! Ah I wish I would have tried the Fondue while I was there! I’ve never heard of Raclette before.
@@RyanShirley You can try it next time you are visiting Switzerland :-) Raclette is melted cheese with potatoes and side dishes. It is best if it is melted on an open fire! Have a great sunday!
tutti posti molto belli, alcuni magnifici come in Italia, ma nessuno ha il calore della gente come da noi, l'arte, la cultura, e la gioia che emaniamo. saluti
Bayeux in Normandy is truly one of my favorites
I gotta visit when I go to france!
I traveled through Europe for 10 weeks this August, September and October. Those cute small towns in Europe are truly something out of this world. Some of my favourites are Bruges, Cesky Krumlov, Hvar, Lecce, Polignano a Mare, Matera, Girona and Cadaques. Alberobello is great for photos but a bit small to explore IMO.
I lived in Europe for 50 years and haven’t seen a bit of all these villages. Never had the time or the money! 😏
Helo Ryan..great video..iam covering lot of places in europe..but your video is absolutely stunning..you are really a gifted person..covered lot of incredible places..good luck..keep going..iam able to get lot of informations about these enchanting places
Thanks so much friend! Where are you from?
@@RyanShirley im from india..tamil nadu..you must have heard about chennai..chennai is the capital of tamil nadu..
so touching for an excellent video
Of course! Thanks for watching :)
good view brother...
Thanks so much Faqih!
Great Video man ... we need you to explore Mexico already though lol
Ah man, I need to go, maybe at the beginning of this year!
I suppose there is a fine line between a big village and a small city. And in Europe, there are many old settlements that have amazing urban character in a tiny footprint. Personally, I think Korčula, Croatia deserves a spot on your list. Happy trails.
Ah I should have added Korcula! I want to visit there this summer! Any other places you recommend?
Yes, it is called a town! “a group of houses and associated buildings, larger than a hamlet and smaller than a town, situated in a rural area.”
Excelente video Ryan me gustó mucho mucho mucho éxito, y quiero que tú canal sea referencia en tu estilo. Saludos y si no te veo por este año te deseo Feliz Navidad 🌲❤️👏😚
Muchas gracias Onelia! De donde eres?
You are the best
Thanks so much brother
You're one hell of a traveler man. Did you just visit these awesome places recently too?
Thanks brother! Yes, I was just in Wengen, and visited a lot others this summer.
Nice to meet you. I'm a Japanese video creator. Your video is very nice. I'm looking forward to other videos!🐼
Some very beautiful ones include hallstat Rothenberg prine verrina and cesky
Thanks mate! I love your choices!
Nice video and nice channel
Thanks so much mate!
Only good vibes in the village ☺️
Its beautiful because the influences from the past are preserved❤ you won't see this a lot in industrialized countries
That's a great list. Would you know a cute small town near Istanbul for a easy day trip?
Beautiful video.Please,make a video of Canada.🇨🇦🇨🇦🍁.Thank you.
Ok I will soon :)
In other words, Switzerland is just insanely mind blowing
Switzerland if the best well country in the world in my opinion! Such an incredible place.
Ryan you have to look up Kastoria. It’s a hidden gem that almost no one knows about
My favorites were Zermatt and Positano 😍
Both are amazing places :)
Really found the information provided in this Europe travel guide valuable and very much enjoyed the way you presented it. Very nice video and enjoyed the content. I too also do similar travel guides on my channel. Watching videos like yours really inspire me to create quality content for my audience as well. Thank you!
Thanks mate!
Love you my genius brother
Thanks Bibek! Hope all is well brother!
Cochem is a beautiful town too
Ah I really need to visit it next time I’m in Germany!
My favorite is ZERMATT in Switzerland the beautiful Cesky kromlov in Czechoslovakia ABSOLUTE CLASSIC
Check map of Europe, find place where Czechoslovakia used to be for few years, and then read your comment again.
@@ian_c999 what wait lolololololl
@@chrisyates1088 Czechoslovakia split into Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993. These land existed for 1000 years under these separated names, Czechoslovakia existed only for 70 years due to political reasons as a state of two brothered nations Czechs and Slovaks and people still don't know Czechoslovakia is taken by the past. Český Krumlov is an old Czech city, not Czechoslovak.
@@ian_c999 oh huh okay cool thanks for the history lesson
😍
Beautiful right :)
👌👌
Thanks mate!
First view
Aye thank you!
I would add...
1) The villages of the Cinque Terre, Liguria, Italy;
2) Rovinj, Istria, Croatia;
3) The villages around the Chiemsee, Bavaria, Germany;
4) Colmar, Alsace, France;
5) Enkhuizen, North Holland, The Netherlands;
...but above all:
6) Portovenere, Liguria, Italy.
Sounds like I need to do a part 2! Some incredible villages :)
It's impossible to choose only one, so Varenna, Rothenburg, Hallstatt are my favourite European village;)
Ah all three are incredible! Have you been to them all?
hi can i use your video to my channel..
i really like this❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Liz!
You need to go to krnjaska gora or škofja loka or lake bled in slovenia
I gotta check it out! Are you from Slovenia?
Yeas and we have beautefule alps to

Thanks Tariq!
Part 2 please to cover Spain, Portugal, the Balkans, British Isles, and Baltics!
Ok soon :) any villages you recommend?
@@RyanShirley yes! Ronda and the white village of Andalusia Spain, Obido Portugal, Kotor Montenegro, Berat Albania, Sighisoara Romania, Prizren Kosovo, Killarney Ireland to name a few! Looking forward to the next one :)
@@larry7898 phenomenal suggestions! I really want to visit Ronda. I was just in Killarney and obidos filming so got some new videos coming soon.
Ireland should be added too.
Hey, if you’re interested in seeing French villages, many of them have a label called « Les Plus Beaux Villages de France ». It does not include all the beautiful villages but contains magnificent villages. I know this type of label also exists in other countries. I highly recommend going in South West France, especially Dordogne and around ! Thanks for your video, all this places are indeed incredible, I especially love Zermatt ! I love your channel
Also the town of Dinant in Belgium and Carcossa in southern France and Halstatt in Austria are absolutely gorgeous and I love these awesome towns also it's really funny that there's a McDonald's in a Swiss village 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Chris! I’m always on the lookout for a McDonald’s 😂🍔🍟
@@RyanShirley lol it's funny but seriously bro your doing awesome keep on going brother I hope one one day I can visit Switzerland thanks bro
Hi Ryan, may I know where did you stay during traveling? Hotel? In Switzerland I prefer to stay in hostel/dorm. Cheaper. Hope to see you in Indonesia soon 😉
I like to stay in Airbnb's! That's usually how I find all my stays.
You could include sighisoara Or rimetea romania
Ah I should have included it 🤦🏼♂️😅 such a gotear place!
Great choices, excepted for my country : France (Carcasonne) ^^ OK the medieval citadel is nice but it represents maybe just 5% of the whole city of Carcasonne. And the rest of the city, except this medieval citadel, is uninteresting.
Even more when we know there are pletnty of incredible villages in France.
Please make a USA playlist...
Ok I will soon :)
I can see Postitano (Italy) in a James Bond movie 🎥
Haha this is true :)
what was the ave cost for your lodging on this trip?
About a $100 a night
Great video! Europe is an endless supply for incredible vacation destinations! To add to your European Itinerary, if you are looking for activities that will give you the adrenaline rush of a lifetime, then check out the videos we have here at Adrenaline travels👍
Europe is the best!
You forget Berchtesgaden man and a several beautiful city maybe 100
Ah i should have included it! I love Berchtesgaden!
are there any countries left that u haven't visited. btw how old are u bro? I just turned 19 and have seen a lot but not on your level!
Ah man, i still have so much to visit! My goal is to visit 100 different countries
Grindewald is the best place in the world 🙌🏼
I second that! Heaven on earth 😇🇨🇭🏔
One day we will have chalets there 🤞🏻
Vlkolinec in Slovakia.unesco
If you want to see the real beauty of villages then visit romania or Albania
I really need to come!
Chamonix
I love Chamonix
its called "Iseltwald" not "Itseltwald" :).
Regards from Switzerland
Ah my mistake! Thanks for the help! ☺️ love your country!
@@RyanShirley You are always welcome :).
mc donalds? your favourite restaurant?? ..please confirm that you are kidding!!!
Haha yes, kinda a joke! But I do love McDonald’s 😁
Where is Riva del Garda?
I should have included it!
when u are comming india
Maybe this next year :)
I have been to the majority of these beautiful places but Zermatt was by far the best.
It’s hard to beat the magic of Zermatt 🇨🇭🏔
@@RyanShirley maybe not the best view but one of the best worldwide is from a place on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. From kokee state park which you can drive to. You get a view that resembles the grand canyon going into the ocean
Ryan when new video
Next week I’ll make a big video!
@@RyanShirley thanks brother happy bout you you know your videos are fun they are interesting they make me feel proud we await a very long time for your videos do you have any schedule for your videos
Bled Slovenia
Rovinj Croatia
Ohrid Macedonia
All great places :)
Positano the best in world
It really is incredible!
From your list I agree few considered one of europe's best which are Wengen, Iseltwald, Matterhorn( basically the entire Switzerland is beautiful) and Rothenburg. Positano not my favourite, it looks just ok ok only, because there are more better places than Positano for example islands in Greece and France. Hallstat is just overrated, there are more lakes in Austria looks more beautiful than Hallstat.
Great viewpoints! I agree with you on Swiss villages, they are hard to beat! I gotta expereince more of Austria's lakes and villages.
There are a lot more beautyful places in Europe, some of them in Greece.
Any places you recommend?
@@RyanShirley Monemvasia, Kardamili, Santorini, Nafplio.
Lots of great photos but seriously: while your favourite European villages include Varenna, Alberobello, Cesky Krumlov, Positano, Rothenburg, Reine, Carcassone Dinant, Hallstatt and Piran as well as the Swiss villages of Wengen, Grindelwald, and Zermatt, that your favourite “restaurant” is McDonald’s? My friend, you’re going to seriously lose some street cred with that sell out shill to a fast food chain that is the antithesis of all the villages you state you love the most.
Sorry, but do you even know what is the difference between village and town/city? Village has no urbanism such as central square, fortification etc. Houses in villages are accommodated for gardening, farming... Places like Varenna, Český Krumlov, Rothenburg, Piran, Dinant are pure towns or cities, you can't call them villages. Especially if they had special Town/City Privilege granted by state or ruler.
Ah great point, i should have named it towns and villages! I’ll make a seperate video just for towns.
You have to work on your pronunciation
