my 2019 has the flipped bow filler cushion as well as the wind dam. I love the new seats in back I would use that the most. Hull I could see make a difference but we bought used to save $. Wave is sick when you dial it. The tower imo is not worth telescoping. I put the tower down twice a year for storage. Does look nice but I prefer to upgrade elsewhere. My wife barely lets me open the tower fold out mounted bimini since she loves sun, so this permanent one wouldnt work for us! I could see it used in florida when its hot every single day all year Another mechanical thing to break. Do love the smaller logos! but might remove my logo!
The build started in July and I received the boat at the beginning of October. I placed my order in November of the previous year though while they were still building 2021s.
I've come to love the look and functionality of the telescoping tower! It's such a mean innovation in the wakeboarding industry. One thing that still confuses me is why the tower seems so slow to lower and raise. How long does it take to lower it or raise it completely? I'm also surprised that you have the bow armrests specced as I thought that would be an extra cost that can be moved over to a different option. Was that planned or was it something that the dealership made a mistake on (I remember that there was something else that they accidently specced, but can't remember what it was)?
Yes, its one of my favorite recent innovations for sure. I think it takes a few minutes to raise and a bit shorter to lower and I think its slow because its very heavy and only using 12v batteries. I suppose I could've gone without armrests but they weren't much money. The battery charger is an option I ended up with that i didnt order.
@@wake_mann okay, I guess that makes sense. It's difficult to tell if it's slow compared to competition considering Nautique is the only one really pushing these automated systems, haha. Okay, I'm not too clued up on the costs of the options but will have to be soon. We're looking at getting a G21 in the future sometime so your videos are awesome in getting a hands-on-feel of the boats! Luckily that's a useful option to have accidently🤣
seems like the 2022 G is a legit upgrade over your 2019! Any thoughts of going up to a G25? I went from a Malibu 22LSV to an Axis T250. Even though I usually have a small crew, the extra room and storage is epic. It also handles the rough water much better. I don't think i'm going back to a smaller boat!
Thank you! I've considered a longer boat several times. I came from a 2018 24 MXZ to my G23 and was worried about losing space but really only lost a little bow space. I dont think I will ever need anything bigger and they say the g23 is better for wakeboarding which is my primary focus. Congrats on your new t250!
I was a snowboarder way before i was a wakeboarder. I held a season pass for Discovery both my junior and senior years of high school and went every weekend, blew all the money i was making at my part time job, haha. I fell in love with wakeboardong because it was much nicer on my metal knee so I progressed much further on my wakeboard.
Awesome!!! I still shred when time allows. See I feel the opposite, I think wake boarding is harder on me even tho the speeds are slower. I guess its because my have decent step on breakaway bindings that save me. Anyway, I quit basketball in highschool to feed my addiction and almost quit baseball!!!
@@toddhewett1027 I understand, with a metal knee i'm destroyed after 10 runs, if that. When i was in high school I would go from start to close. Now I just snow board once in a while, like every couple years. I went a stretch of years where I made a point to get out at least once a year but now im at a point where its hard to justify the cost so it needs to be more of a total experience, like staying at a lodge.
@@wake_mann What happened to your knee? I tore my ACL last summer wakeboarding and I'm sticking with surfing until my knee feels 100% post op. I also notice you wear a brace typically in your vids. I need to find a good waterproof one.
Definitely some awesome upgrades! I’ve heard really good things about the ZZ6, so curious if your going to like it as you use it more.
So far so good on the zz6 and prop combo!
Good day, they don't talk anywhere about the wireless charging pad in the glove box. Did you tried charging your phone with it?
Yes, works just like the one by the driver seat.
@@wake_mann Thank you ! I take delivery of my boat May 19. Can't wait !
You're welcome! Congrats on your purchase!

I understand, you certainly should make your choices based on what works for you and the 2019 is a great year!
Nice! How long did it take to finish the build?

@@wake_mann Sweet, shopping for my first wake boat now. Looking hard into the MasterCraft line🤙🏽
Currently behind your ford superduty while waiting at the stop sign on 48th and Grand
Awesome, you caught me in the wild, haha

I can tell you the tower is definitely slower than Malibu but not a problem to me. Glad I can help.
