Yes, LinkedIn is the place to be! Once you have listed all the names of your prospects you want to contact via cold email, use a data append tool to generate their email addresses. LinkedIn users can hide their emails, so you need to use a third party tool to unlock them.
hi there love the video. i dont quite understand why it would help to cold email those people wouldnt it be better to cold email potential clients? like private e mail? is there any way to find e mails from private people? thanks
Hey Bigmamabig, i sent you an email about this. I will make a more comprehensive video on how to be compliant when sending out B2B cold emails as a topic. To summarise, cold email is not illegal in the UK, Europe or the US. Need to double check Denmark. The main regulation in Europe we have is GDPR and this is all about handling data properly. So we have to be very careful how we handle data, such as deleting it once we are done with it, adding clear ways for people to opt-out and most importantly just send emails to people who may have a genuine interest in what you are 'selling' in your email (send fewer emails, but to highly targeted prospects / 50-70 a day not 1000's). But yes you are right to be cautious, but with the right protocols cold emailing is a very powerful means of attaining new clients and is 100% not illegal if done right. Here is an article which goes over some of this info. medium.com/swlh/5-simple-steps-to-sending-gdpr-compliant-b2b-cold-emails-4bfc023ccd37
Here is an excerpt from the article which communicates it better than me: The ePrivacy Regulation specifically leaves it up to the individual countries within the EU to decide whether ‘unsolicited commercial communications’ (a.k.a B2B cold email campaigns) should be opt-in or opt-out. In the UK we have opted to follow PECR (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations of 2003) which means that business to business communications do not require opt-in consent.
Apollo have all data from linkedin. They use the same job titlles as linkedin even for ovner, founder, cofounder so it is obvies that they scrape linkedin.
Great way to get emails from Linkedin search: snov.io?_get=superlumen
