మదన్ గుప్తా గారు బాగా చెప్పారు. ఎక్కడైనా , ఏ మతం,కులాలకు చెందిన వారు ఏ ప్రాంతం నుంచి వలస వచ్చినా, వీరు మొదట హైందవ మతానికి ( వైదిక, సనాతన, బ్రాహ్మణీయ మతం) చెందిన వారే!! ఎందుకంటే, చారిత్రాత్మక అంశాలను పరిశీలిస్తే; జైనులు, బౌద్ధులు రాక ముందే అఖండ భారతమంతటా హైందవ మతం ప్రాచుర్యంలో ఉండేది. అప్పటి సామాజిక, సాంస్కృతిక పరిస్థితులకు భిన్నంగా ప్రజలను ఉద్ధరించడానికి ఏర్పడినవే ఇతర మతాలు. 1. ఆతి కఠినమైన జైన సాంప్రదాయాలను ఇష్టపడని ప్రజలు నెమ్మదిగా జైన మతాన్ని విడిచిపెట్టడం ప్రారంభించారు. ఒకానొక దశలో బుద్ధుడు కూడా జైన పద్ధతులను తిరస్కరించాడు. ఇప్పుడు భారత దేశంలో జైన జనాభా 4 లక్షలు మాత్రమే. కాకపోతే, జైనులు బౌద్ధుల మాదిరి హిందూ మత ప్రజలపై దౌర్జన్యాలు చెయ్యలేదు; అలాగే దేశం విడిచి పోలేదు. 2. బుద్ధుడు తనకు జ్ఞానోదయం కలిగిందన్న విషయం అర్ధం చేసుకోడానికి చాలా సమయం పట్టిందని, బుద్ధుడికి నమ్మకం కలగలేదని చరిత్రకారులు నమ్ముతారు. జ్ఞానోదయం కోసం రావి చెట్టుకింద బుద్ధుడు చేసిన తపస్సు హైందవ మతంలో అప్పటికే ఆచారంలో ఉన్నదే; అష్టాంగ యోగ సూత్రాల్లో భాగమేనని, కొత్తాగా బుద్ధుడు కనుగొన్నది ఏమీ లేదని చాలామంది బౌధ్ధ సన్యాసుల నమ్మకం. అయితే క్రమేణా, తమదే అన్నిటికన్నా గొప్ప మతమని , మదమెక్కిన, బలుపెక్కిన , అహంకార బౌధ్ధ సన్యాసులు ఒకరకంగా బౌధ్ధ మతం భారత దేశం నుండి నిర్మూలింపబడడానికి కారకులయ్యారు. ఇది బౌధ్ధ సన్యాసుల స్వయంకృతాపరాధం. స్త్రీ బౌద్ధ సన్యాసినులు (బిక్కిణులు) ప్రవేశంతో బౌద్ధం పూర్తిగా నాశనమయింది. భిక్కిణులు జుగుప్సాకరమైన పద్ధతుల్లో , బౌధ్ధ తరగతుల అనే ముసుగులో, ప్రలోభపెట్టి బౌధ్ధ సన్యాసులతో అక్రమ సంబంధాలకు పాల్పడి; అవి అక్రమ సంతానానికి దారితీసి బౌధ్ధ ఆరామాలు, దిబ్బలు, కట్టడాలు, చైత్యాలు లంజల దిబ్బలుగా, వేశ్యా వాటికలుగా, విటుల ఆరామాలుగా మారిపోయాయి. బిక్కినులు లంజ సన్యాసినులుగా , ఉంపుడుకత్తెలుగా , మగ బౌధ్ధ సన్యాసులు విటులుగా , అసాంఘిక, విశృంఖల లైంగిక చర్యలకు పాల్పడడంతో స్థానిక ప్రజల్లో తిరుగుబాటు వచ్చి బౌద్ధులను దేశంనుండి తరిమికొట్టారు. ప్రస్తుతం దేశంలో బౌద్ధుల జనాభా 80లక్షలు. జైనం, బౌద్ధం, పార్సీ, ఇస్లాం, శిక్కు, క్రైస్తవంతో పాటు ఎన్నో చిన్నాచితక మతాలను , ఆదరించిన , ఆహ్వానించిన గొప్ప సాంప్రదాయం కలిగిన భూమి భారత దేశం. నేడు హిందూ మతం ప్రతి ఒక్కరికీ అలుసైపోయింది. ఇప్పుడు హిందూ మతాన్ని ద్వేషించడం ఫ్యాషన్ అయిపోయింది. హిందు మతం కు వ్యతిరేకంగా మాట్లాడితే, పేరు వస్తె చాలు, రెచ్చిపోవొచ్చు అనే భ్రమలో ఉన్నారు కొందరు కుహనా జర్నోలు, యూ టుబర్స్, యాంకర్స్,. నేను హిందువుని అని గర్విస్టాను తప్ప నీలాగా ఇతర మతాలపట్ల నాకు ఎటువంటి దురభిప్రాయం లేదు. ఎడారి, గొఱ్ఱె మతాలను విమర్శించే ధైర్యం ఉందా వీళ్లకు ; ఇతర మతాలను విమర్శించిన మర్నాడు వీళ్ళందరికీ అంతిమక్రియలు జరుగుతాయని భయం.

If you take kurma Avathaar, when the samudra manthan is going on - Vishnu is Kumar athaar under the mountain, to balance it, Vishnu is on the top of the mountain to put pressure on the mountain to stay firmly on the kurma's back and also in balance to the force of samudra mandhan done by Devathas & Daityas.

Siddhartdha was exposed to the Upanishads that preceded him (Brihadaranyaka, Chandogya, Taittareeya, Itareeya, etc.) by his gurus. Buddha expanded on those ideas and came to finer and elaborate conclusions. He never said that ultimately, there is nothing (soonya vaada). Buddhist leaders found it necessary (to survive as a separate religion) to claim that it is not based on Vedic tradition. If you analyze their outlook, way of life, rituals, etc., their root stucture is all from Upoanishadic background. Within India, people didn't view it as a separate faith. So, while it did spread to the outside, it lost its status as a major religion in India.
