I'm currently only 4 minutes into the video as I make this comment, but I feel it's important to acknowledge if it isn't already in the vid. If you plan to play this game with friends, expect the overall performance of the game to drop substantially with each persons added to your hosted game. Meaning if you are running the game at 100 fps with your current settings, expect about 50 of those frames to go bye bye if you're hosting a sessions with 4-6 of your buddies. And the game has 8 player co op, so bear that one in mind. This of course can be an optimization fix later in the future.

I sadly didn’t plan on buying a new graphics card because my budget doesn’t allow me to and I am going to use my 3060 ti that’s currently in my old PC but there’s always space for changes in the future. I appreciate the suggestion though!

What he mentioned about the 3600 is completely true, using a 3070 with a 3600 and i had to lower my settings to low/medium/high mix to have an average of 65 fps at 1080p. Just waiting for the 7800x3d, my 3600 did serve me well for the past 4 years.
Would you recommend 1440p at natural res with vsync on and game capped at 60fps with a natural 4k UHD that has max 70hz? I had terrible screen tearing playing it on original settings
(with a natural 4k UHD monitor that has a max 70hz). I also have a natural 2k monitor with 144hz but 3060ti cant reach those frames on this game anyway so no use in the extra hz I would imagine? I have it paired with a Ryzen 7 5800X.
i was watching my best streamer playing this game with 3070 and it droped to 40fps sometimes on medium-low settings . he also have good i9 cpu. i hope they will patch it and it will work better for visuals we get.

You’ll never see cpus reach 100 when playing games at least I don’t think but I’m no expert, it’s just from what I’ve seen.You’ll see the gpu usage go to about 100. But 720p with only 60fps is kinda crazy. The i7 8th gen isn’t exactly great from what I’ve seen and only 16gb of ram isn’t great but that’s not too much of a problem. I have the i5 10th gen. Or the i5 10600k to be exact with the 3060ti and 32gb of ram. I play on 1440p ultra and get around 70fps or right around 60 in most games. Also depending on the refresh rate of your monitor or tv I think can cause some issues as well. That cpu is fine I would say tho
how do you get 100% gpu usage i got a 3080 and a ryzen 5 5600x and on every other game I get around 95% but with the forest its around 70 to 85 percent at average 60 fps 1440p ultra
My CPU is stronger and my GPU is weaker, 7ou have a slight CPU bottleneck in this game. A 5800X3D will solve that if you're unhappy with performance :)

Why does my 3060 Ti only give me around 80-90 fps and usage is at 60-80%. Is my powersupply too small or whats going on. I used the exact same settings as you. oh wait I was in the forest area and you got to around 80fps too when you were there.
One thing I am a bit confused on is that I also have a 3060ti, and a very similar CPU to yours, it just doesn't have the '3D' at the end of its name, and I put my settings to Ultra with SMAA on and max fps and I only got around 58 fps with major fluctuations as I turned and moved, dipping down to around 38 at times but staying pretty smooth and not too choppy at all.

hey Kryzzp, I've been having some issues with my system for the longest time now 3060ti i5 11400f samsung 980 pro 1tb ASUS Strix z590 Corsair vengence LPX 3600MHz 750W Corsair PSU With every single game i play my GPU is only being half utilized around 30-50% and it remains there the whole time, originally i thought it was due to a lack of optimisation in the games i play, however seeing this video and your others shows that it is more than possible to max your GPU on most games Ive already tried running SoTF and was getting about 30fps with the settings in the video and DLSS on quality. If you or anyone have any solutions it would be heavily appreciated

When the 3060ti cane out it was close in performance to the 1080ti. As time went by the 1080ti got closer and closer to the 3060 while the 3060ti kept pulling ahead by a lot. To be expected since the Ampere architecture was so different from what we had with turing, pascal and previous generations. It needed some optimizations and driver maturity I guess

Update the DLSS version and it will help with the ghosting significantly. I use 3.1.1 DLSS
2.5.1 is better for ghosting than a 3.1.1

I play the game at 3440x1440p on a 3080, 5800x3D and get around what seems like 75 to 100 FPS. At least in the forest.

The game seems to not be optimized for older cards. My 1080ti never goes above 60% usage, with a 3800X and 3600mhz memory

Why aren't you testing other presets like high or medium? I think this GPU can do 4K High at Quality DLSS above 60 FPS.
