Hello enjoyed all your videos, Now I have a question to either speedlight or probe light should I get , I have a mirror photobooth and i need a wireless one to hook it up on top , what would you recommend, my camera is canon 2000d , thank you
Hi I like your videos allot. I agree that you don't need expensive strobes for photo booth work however the only problem I have with using neewer strobes is were do you buy replacement modeling lamps and flash tubes for the strobles that you have. That is one of the reasons that I like using Alien Bees strobes because or another main brand because of buying spare flash tubes and modeling lamps. Also higher power strobes are better for darker venius and one more thing what camera settings do you use for your photo booths
Constant light is only good with things like webcams, iPads. Etc. My builds all have dslr cameras. With dslr cameras you want to have a strobe (flash) hooked up to the camera but also a constant light (modeling light) so the guest can see them selves in a dark photo booth area.
Check out my photo booth build videos, however your prob looking for a mini plate light mount. This is video 1 of my photo booth build series! ruclips.net/video/vl9M7gI4n50/видео.html
What's up Lee !! Thank you for your great explanations. What kind of hot shoe do you use for your Canon DSLR ? I like the idea and I'm about to do the same thing but I believe all models are not compatible.
Hi I have a newer Q-400N from another setup and a canon t6 strobe inside my Photobooth. I’m wondering if there’s any way to set the strobe on the canon. If it is compatible or if there’s something I can do to connect them
If your trying to put the strobe in the photo booth box you could just stuff it in there and attach the strobe via PC Sync cord with a hot Shoe Adapter.
Thanks for explaining everything! I'm trying to find a similar stand like the one that you have on top of your photobooth box for the monolight. Is there a name for the small one that you have?
Want to see more photo booth videos? This one has a DSLR Photo Booth vs an iPad Photo Booth:

I just went to my local camera store and asked for a hot shoe mount that was compatible with canon cameras. It was $12.

Have the neweer products been reliable?
Some yes and some not so much.
You get what you pay for.
The neewer model light turns off after 5 minutes?
Not any of mine.
