So wonderful to see Steady Eddy stone sober but naturally high on the raw physical beauty of the lovely mountains-draped Vang Vieng, Thailand. We can't to see more of her through your eyes!

They got a bus service from Udon Thani to Vang Vieng. Udon has 2 Bus Stations. No.1 is the Down Town & No.2 is on the Ring Road. The journey time is about 4 hours. Have you ever been to Nepal Eddie? If you wanna see more spectacular mountains the Himalayas 🏔️ then head to Pokhara, it’s just a short flight from Kathmandu, I wouldn’t recommend the bus. It’s one of the main mountain towns where climbers meet to climb Annapurna. Wonderful town and sits next to a large lake! The return flight from Bangkok to Kathmandu is around £212 and takes just 2hrs30mins. I went there about 3 years ago to meet my son who got engaged at the Annapurna base camp. The town of Pokhara has good cheap hotels and restaurants and what’s really incredible is seeing the sunrise over the Himalayas, magical and magnificent 😊. Yes Vang Vieng is great too, I was there about 15 years ago, even the main road was still a gravel road and most people headed to the river to ride on big water rings over the rapids, do they still do that?
I used to go there once a year when i had a Thai business visa.Things are much cheaper there than Thailand. Thats 1 good thing about Asian you can go to a lot of different countries and it costs nothing.
the view is nice, the small city attracts many backpackers... if you are into daytime activities it's great (for me to hot), the nightlife is a bit boring with mostly backpackers and almost no locals

It is certainly cheaper than the actual alpine experience. Few months ago, i took my wife to the Swiss alps. We spent almost 10 grand for one week. And we aren't big spenders either. Freaking tomato soup was 50 quid. 3 star hotel was 450 per night.

Agreed, but it's more interesting seeing the creativity of a vologer, along the way, than just getting there any old way Example there's some big time vologers in Philippines that I just watched, and instead of the showing the do's and don't of getting their visa processed going to another country, they just throw everything over the fence to an agency, for them to do the work.
