The same is happening with the Rocket. More lines starting to click, with still the odd bumps & mistakes that are bound to happen or the couple off shifts or period here and there (like Mesar & Davidson in the first period of that second game against Syracuse) but you see almost all of these quirks not lingering the whole game anymore, we can even see most of it being corrected, eased out if not completely turned around (same exemple, superb 2nd & 3rd for Filip, Jared & Owen). Most importantly it's all done together in a much more cohesive effort. Hope they keep it rolling for a good stretch.

For someone who scored 2 goals tonight, I'm gonna be a bit critical. Twice I feel that Caulfield choked away from his strengths. His Ace-In-The-Hole. His One-timer from anywhere and on loose pucks. The first time he had a open net if he would've one-timed it. And on his breakaway he tries to deke when he probably has a 90% better chance when he tries to just snipe it. Suzuki is also not taking advantage of his above average shooting accuracy at all this year! Although he is a fantastic stick handler and can deke out any goalie when he confident, he's just not feeling it it seems and he's not trusting his shooting ability to get him out of his goal slump. He's a 33 goal scorer. The guy needs to get it going. Slav isn't shooting either. It's pretty apparent every game when they always get out shot 2 to 1. Same story as last year. It kind of hurts when the defense is injured and still green, and your new offensive weapon is hurt. Although I doubt Laine would do miracles with this current lineup. The second line is not what we hoped it would be by a long shot. Yet.

i 100% agree with you, but these guys are professionals, with a coach with a unique skillset, they’re gonna figure it out soon. we sometimes get slumps in the middle of the season, now it’s just at the beginning. Believe me when i say it’s not gonna be like that all year. Caufield will keep on scoring and when the other two on line 1 wake up (they will), Dach’s gonna get his groove back eventually, we’ll be adding Patrick Laine , Josh Roy, Logan Mailloux (looks amazing) , i’m pretty sure things will be figured out very very soon

@bruh4977 bruh... Do you have any reading comprehension? The original post you reacted to literally says S & S need to wake up because "their point totals aren't indicative of how bad they've been playing".
Then you go on to say "they have 5-6 points what do you expect more" 🤦‍♂️
So the explanation for you is the 3rd MTL goal where Caufield scored from "nothing" = nobody would have expected him to score from that position. But those 2 got assists recorded for that 🤷‍♂️
Or even more simply put just for you - Caufield isn't scoring because of their assistance, but rather they are getting points (assists) because of his scoring. 😉

Very soft 3rd goal let in by Varlomov. He redeemed himself and picked up his teammates in the SO. I hate SO's but worked in their favor today. We'll never have to see a bs SO again if the league makes OT 10min. Islanders need to stop blowing leads and have to finish more often. This game should've been won comfortably.

That is rare for Varlomov, not for Primeau. 2 more brutal goals tonight and it cost the Canadians points.

@@timkitchen692Brutal? Wtf is he supposed to do on the Palmieri shot? You guys are high on crack. He had a great game while the Islanders buzzed in the Ozone all night. Tell Suzuki and Slaf to wake tf up.

Especially with 7 Power plays at home. They spent 25% of the game at 5v4 and still barely won.

Nice try Habs. You'll get em next time. Jesus loves you guys. Now's the time to come closer to Him in a beautiful relationship to Him. Believe on Him, ask for forgiveness of sins, turn from them and talk to Him everyday. Read the Bible, apply it to your life. God loves you, He sent Jesus to die for the world. He's worth it.

Believing and preaching has never changed anything on the ground. Ask the hurricane victims in Milton or the hockey players. There's an atheist candidate in the U.S. presidential election, and he has a good chance of winning!
