    21:30 😅 I got scared there for a second. I have one it was 32 rps at 40k 50% torque. Im 90%, my shim job was spot on and thought it was a bit low compared to my calculations.

    While the T238 has less amp draw, it's clearly giving up torque (same RPM setting but lowest RPS) for it. Probably limiting the built in ESC for seemingly better AMP spec or simply can't risk too much current through it's MOSFET.

      @@wyshtechairsoft Sounds interesting, I'll check out. I wonder if you bring tht T238 up to same RPS how the AMP draw would change.
      If you're curious, compare a Neodynium magnet high torque with a stock ferrit motor, at stock spring power the AMP draw of the stock motor is also lower so AMP isn't everything, it's a all related system.

      Right on! What do you think of the motor so far?

    • @jhqtech
      @jhqtech 4 месяца назад

      @@wyshtechairsoft it’s pretty awesome, the braking is def superior to the t238s with the unidirectional bearing which also helps with making it more consistent. The amp draw seems to be a bit higher than t238 even when adjusting the “torque” option (I’m convinced it just limits the starting current pulled by the motor). I feel this is in part due to the motor now bearing the load of the main spring constantly rather than having a arl take that pressure off. But overall I feel it’s superior due to its more precise piston positioning, braking, startup, and programability. Currently in my setup with the motor set to max “torque” and 35k the semi response time is 18ms on 18:1 Solink helical dsg gears which was an improvement over the 23ms response time of the t238 33k I had previously. Sub 20ms semi on anything not 14:1 dsg or lower (excluding precocking) is very impressive.

      Depends what rps you are trying to go for. Either way, 3 teeth will give you better trigger response. Taking off which teeth depends on the gear brand as these days the tappet pin is located in different spota.

    Just have a question, a buddy of mine is running a stock Cyma platinum M4 and the recommended battery. During a game his M4 stops shooting and when we tried to insert a different battery it was beeping like crazy so we inputed the old battery and it worked again but the M4 stops shooting again. So mid game he had to reconnecting the battery over and over again for it to shoot. What may be the cause of that?

    • @wyshtechairsoft

      Sounds like you got a bad electronic trigger unit. Those factory etu's are notorious for going bad. However this is a great opportunity to upgrade to a fully programmable and more reliable ETU like the Perun V2 Hybrid.

    Afaik brushless motor speed doesn't affect their torque output. Speed is simply controlled by a speed controller while the torque is the same at all speeds.
    Difference between low and high speed BL motor is the firmware that's loaded onto it not the winding.
    Torque adjustment is probably a power limiter. Who knows what it actually does...
    You short stroked on pickup I guess. Did you use a delayer chip? If you did which one? Did you cut it?
    Please do the review of the blue T238 ASAP! Or give me your opinions here. Would love to get one (or two) but don't know what to expect.

    • @wyshtechairsoft
      @wyshtechairsoft  5 месяцев назад

      Yes, I did use a delayer. Since JVAN wyshtech edition gearset that I used has the tappet pickup delayed than traditional. I did not have to trim the SHS chip at all. Also! Thank you for your input on the brushless motor torque and speed. I also think the "torque adjustment" is just a power limiter which is still pretty awesome since you can limit the amount of amperage pull so you dont pull more than you actually need depending on your build.
      The blue cheap t238 brushless motor is the next video im going to make!

    • @error262
      @error262 5 месяцев назад

      @@wyshtechairsoft Full delayer chip with JVAN gears and it's not releasing the piston before the tappet plate gets released? Might have to do some more testing with mine...
      I have concluded that JVAN gears can't be short stroked on release pretty much at all due to early tappet release but I might be wrong. Would be doable if I'd cut the tappet fin but I want as reliable feeding as possible. Currently at 32RPS with T238 and 13:1 JVAN short stroked on pickup by 2 at around 1.4-1.45J.
      Have you tested the blue T238? I have two builds that might get one of those if it's even close as good as silver T238.
      One would be 4 tooth short stroked 13:1 (cyma plat gears) Cyma P90 and the other one DSG (JVAN gears and bushings) Krink.
      Can't decide which RPM to go for... Want above 25RPS and under 30RPS on P90 (mag selection is pretty bad) and a bit over 40 on the krink. Power I'm aiming for is around 1.3-1.56J.
      btw I know that Krytac P90 mags exist...no thanks.
