In this video @rowdyhammers and I hit the famous Winchester Bay dunes to test out his new Weller turbo kit! This thing RIPS!! It made such a noticeable difference in power! I really want a turbo yxz. That thing is bad ass. That exhaust tho, sure it sounds good but after about 5 minutes it would just be annoying. Maybe I'm just getting old tho haha
@rowdyhammers changed the exhaust again and added a valve to switch between the super loud strait pipe and the slightly quieter exhaust.

Did you have to drain radiator for install?
I’m not sure, but I’ll find out for ya!
I did not drain the radiator initially, but when running the turbo coolant lines if your not fast enough it all comes out anyway😂 so might as well drain and pull the rad for more room. I'll have my install video posted to my channel by next week....I'm months behind

I'm trying to decide weather to get the gen 1 or gen 2 GYTR turbo kit.
I think the smaller turbo in the gen 2 will be sufficient, can't see myself needing more than say 220 wheel HP.
What turbo comes with the Weller kit?
@13btcapella the turbo in the weller kit is designed spacificaly for the YXZ, not sure who they had produce them. But the one piece manifold to turbine housing is pretty nice. I would recommend the weller over the gytr, but if you go that route, the gen 2 would be good at 220 because it spools faster. Either way, the yxz loves a turbo!

What stage turbo are you running from Weller?

It is technically a stage 1 turbo here as it's running a pump gas tune. Hard parts are the same, so as soon as the fuel system gets an upgrade it will get the high boost tune thrown at it.

@jordangress236 not sure on hp exactly, it's just using a base tune here. But it's likely in the 180s or 190s to ballpark it
